My last name is completely generic so when I got married we hyphenated and we both changed our names. Works out well because my wife's name is completely generic in Japan.

Our last name means "fool" in Japanese. So in Japan we changed our name as well.

Probably not. Gay actors have played straight characters since the dawn of theater. But I wonder what will happen if the fans start clamoring for K/S. The K/S shippers are a pretty large group, in my experience. They've got clout in the fandom.
