Sea sponge. Effective and also kind to the environment. But as T'Sara says, you have to be comfortable with the idea.

^ Never tried those....but I do use the keeper (thinking of switching to the diva because of the keeper's questionable business practices) and cloth pads made by me or WAHM's.

T'Poptarts, laundrying pads isn't a big deal. You can just hand wash them as well.

I know of people who wash theirs in the shower.

I can't believe I'm coming out of *lurk* mode for this, but:

I'd be careful of any reusable sanitary supplies. Unless they're laundered in VERY hot water and lots of soap (hand washing won't cut it unless you boil them) they can become colonized with the bacteria that causes toxic shock syndrome. I definitely wouldn't use them internally.

And yet, some of you gals complain when we post pictures of ladies who have (publicly) worn tight and/or revealing pants.

Egad. Some things just can't be communicated across the great divide I suppose.

I've never had a problem....and I've used them for years. Wink

I also have never heard of or read about TSS being associated with them.

I'd be interested in reading about it though if you could PM me them. Very Happy

Actually I'm a girl and I've been saying a lot of the stuff in there like since ever. I mean like for example the whole toilet seat issue. Like what the frell how petty is that. Confused Confused Confused Confused Like if the chicks don't have to bother to put the toilet seat up for the dude then why the frell should the dude have to put it down for the chick?? Confused Confused Confused That's like when my parents would yell at me for setting the toaster (I almost typed "cylon" Laughing ) on 2 to cook my toast when they all like their toasts cooked on 5. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Like what the frell is your problem, there's different settings for a reason, I can set it for my toast just fine, and what did y'all like sprain your frelling fingers or something?? Evil or Very Mad Rolling Eyes

Bitch My job is, as of tomorrow, going to be my former job. A couple of weeks ago I only got 7 hours, so I asked the manager if there was a problem. He told me after 2 weeks of training new hires I'd get more hours. Well, the first week after that he "forgot" to put me on the schedule, and this week he only gave me 10 hours. Mad I agreed to cover someone's shift for today, since I need hours 'cause I'm broke. When I got in, there was a big sign saying that anyone who switches shifts without his permission will be let go. Mad Then, another guy asked him if I could cover a shift, and the manager said no. So tomorrow I'm going in to quit. Argh! The weird thing is, I worked their last summer without any issues. Bitch

LOL the toliet seat issue is a big one it seems.

I'm home more than my hubby.....so we usually leave it down....but back when we first got married he would put it down after using it.....and I would put it up.

Hubby used to freak when I wouldn't put the cap back on the tooth paste after using it.....now I do.....it's just a matter of changing your habits sometimes.
