New Fanfic Up 2013

Welcome to a new and amazing year of fanfiction here on Triaxian Silk! As always, if you post on this thread you'll get an email notifying you of new stories.

To begin the New Year with a bang, we have a new story by Lt. Zoe Jebkanto entitled The Next Chapter of Risky. It's a sequel to Blue on Blue, so if you haven't read that one I'd recommend that you read it first.

Speaking of it. I sent chapters 13-18 of "Words" on Dec. 9th. 13 and 14 were posted with the latter being posted on Dec 14th, but since then nothing happened. Do you want me to resend 15-18 or are they still in editing?

Can't you just click "subscribe topic" instead of posting?

Yes, weeble. That's another way to do it, but posting is easier for those of us who are less technically gifted, like me.

I'll look into it, kotik. I think your chapters may have been a casualty of the posting shift change, but I'm sure Linda still has them.

It's nothing to do with being technically gifted (speaking with great pain as someone who has been wrestling with ITunes and Windows and the horror of disappearing mp3s today). Unless the default setting in the user profile (accessed via User Control Panel) is set to YES to be automatically notified of replies, just posting doesn't get you anything. Mine is set to no. I have no idea if I did that intentionally or not since it's been that way as long as I can remember, but if you don't get automatic notifications to every thread you post in and you actually DO want your inbox to fill up with those, that's how you do it. Otherwise, just click the subscribe to thread button on the upper left of the thread.

Which, frankly, strikes me as a little simpler.

I was just thinking, with Kotik forced to remain sober for his 'on-call' time, one would think that his happy little fingers would have produced another chappy or two.....with all of the bowls games I have NOT been under similar restrictions....

Well I have Two chapters of "Darkness on the Edge Of Space" are done. It's the sequel to "Words", but until all chapters of that are online, there's no use in posting them already, is there? Let's wait until Linda has posted those. On top of that I finally managed to wrestle my fat cadaver out of the corner into which I wrote myself with my "Slopes of Andoria" chapter. Hope to get that done finally in the next day. Only took me half a year But today there'll be none of that. For the first time in two weeks I can enjoy a cool hops tea, so I'll do manly stuff (watching silly stuff on the net and belch a lot). Creativity has to wait until 2morrow
