That's NOT HELPING!!!!! Doesn't matter where I look or what I think about it doesn't change the fact that there's a BIG SCARY NEEDLE ON ITS WAY INTO MY BODY AND IT'S GONNA HURT REAL BAD and then I like totally panic hyperventilate and stuff and then I faint I have like a really bad needle phobia hell I can't even look at a frelling needle on TV I have to cover my eyes, otherwise I panic too I panic just thinking about needles, well like now for example thanks
Regular needles don't hurt you just think they do. When I was being patched up I was on pain meds and I felt when they where stitching me up because they hit some nerves after that I don't fear needles. There are a lot more things that hurt more, even a paper cut hurts more than a needle.
Oh the needles DO hurt like even for months later, and it doesn't really matter whether they hurt or not because they're just so frelling scary just for the fact of being needles, and they go into the body and stuff and it's like totally TERRIFYING papercuts aren't scary they just hurt and they're annoying, hell even like knives aren't nearly as scary as needles
Actually some drugs may make the spot hurt where you are given a shot but the shots themselves don't hurt. Maybe you should think of getting a shot as a mechanical operation like a delivery system it might make it easier.
It doesn't stab it's just delivers vital medicines that your body needs, besides it's only flesh. Most people don't even feel the shot. Taking blood my cause inconvenience but getting a shot doesn't hurt at all. I have been a blood donor I know.
Yes it does hurt and I know it like totally doesn't make sense that I'm so scared of the needles but I just am, and they're so scary and they go into the body and they hurt
I don't have any friends well and it's really impossible to distract me from a needle, and besides when the nurse is giving the shot (like if she doesn't get tired of trying and just give up) I'm not even conscious
Well it's not like I have like conscious control over it, I mean like okay I know I'm supposed to get the shot and I know I don't wanna get sick with anything but as soon as you mention a needle I just like totally freak out and I get all disoriented and faint
