Enterprise sucked into the American Civil War could be pretty intriguing. Any of the ship crews sucked into the Eugenics Wars would be intriguing just because that has barely been plumbed.

Q: Which unusual talent or trait would you assign to one of the minor characters to make him or her more interesting?

I made Hoshi a latent telepath in my stories. Something's gotta explain how she can talk to aliens in their own language after like 5 minutes the way she does on the series, right?

Q: So... we know Malcolm's favorite food is pineapple and Trip likes catfish, T'Pol is partial to pecan pie and peaches as well as vegetables of all sorts, Phlox likes egg drop soup (is that canon or did I just read that in a SNW story? I forget), and Porthos is fond of cheese. What about Archer, Hoshi, and Travis? What do you think would be their favorite foods?

All right, If you could rewrite Travis's character, how would you do it? Poor man needs a character makeover.

They should've done more with his Boomer background. He was this wide-eyed "child" in outer space whereas he should've been very space savvy and experienced, despite his youth.

Q: If you could rewrite Hoshi's character, how would you do it?

I'd provide more contrast with T'Pol and Malcolm by making her sexier and more colorful in general -- I think she should have been a fiery Latina. And throw in more UST with somebody.

If you could change one thing about Trip, what would it be?

The accent. Although it makes him fun to write, it makes others judge him as a hick.

Hoshi has Sluggo, T'Pol a sehlat, Travis some exotic alien animal he picked up as a Boomer, Malcolm a stealthy cat (as befitting his secret agent persona) and Trip a dog.

Q: All the Enterprise human crew members are such beautiful people. Would you have related to the series better if one of the characters had been more ordinary looking, of a more typical weight or in some way less like a fashion model?
