I made sure to give myself a birthday gift and had a lesson on the public session before lunch on Sunday. According to my heart rate monitor, I burned over 1000 calories 
, which I promptly decimated as soon as I got home and was offered chocolate ! Skated again this morning... 700 calories, but we had leftover cake that I tore through. My pants don't fit quite as well anymore, but luckily, my birthday is at the end of the summer
