Well, I prescribe meds for a living, but I think over-advertising in the US has created a generation of patients who THINK they know what's best for them. Sometimes they do, and sometimes it's hype. There are many instances when partial information is worse than no information at all.

How much this is true.
And the WEB?
Oh my!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

And we won't be getting rid of misleading advertising anytime soon....bottom line is $$$$. Regulation of advertising would help but the trend has been away from regulation of anything by the government in recent years. I am surprised that cigarette ads are not back on TV! (I hate smoking my husband is in complete denial about the effects of his smoking).
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

I do enjoy not having any prescriptions advertised on TV here. It's refreshing.
