Why not have Trip tease T'Pol.....he does after all call her Polly at one point.

Ah, but see "pollywog" has a specific meaning ...

Thanks everyone for the welcomes.

Navigator, I love your anecdote. A friend you can share memories, beer, and Star Trek with is pretty cool in my book.

Absolutely... I never get to talk about Trek to anybody in person. My friends sometimes ask about it and give me a hard time (just tonight at applebees, my roommate andrew goes "Didn't you write a star trek fan fiction story for a paper last year?" and "Don't you write star trek fan fiction?" and "Don't you run a star trek fan fiction website?" lol) just to embarass me, that ass,. But it's all in good fun, we're all nerds, they're just nerds of a different kind. Andrew's one of those musical nerds who has a turn-table in his room for listening to records

Elessar, it sounds like your friend Andrew "doth protest too much." He sure seems to know a lot about the extent of your writing.

I'll bet he's a fan, undercover. He probably checks your site for fic updates. 8)

Hi, I'm new. I met one of your members at a freestyle session last night (figure skating), and she recognised me from a ST: Enterprise event, and from skating, and we got to talking, and here I am.

Hi!

As for the survey:

Location, profession (only if you want to):
- New York, marketing professional

Are you here as a reader, writer, or both?
- Both, perhaps. I read a lot of fanfic, and I do write it, but most of my stuff is gen, not ship. You can find it here:
http://www.fanfiction.net/u/741304/RoaringMice

How did you first become a fan of Star Trek?
- I really got into the series with TNG, but Enterprise was the first one I felt passionate about. It's my first fandom.

Are you interested in any other fandoms?
- Stargate Atlantis. That's about it. I watch other shows, I just don't "fan" them.

What's your favorite Enterprise fanfic?
- Wow. There are so many. Probably the "Protector's" series, by ShiShi. Here's a link:
http://fiction.entstcommunity.org/serie ... riesid=184
It's mainly Reed/Sato, but it does have Trip/T'Pol. I love this series. It's dark, it's angsty, but at the same time, it does have humour. I love her characterisations of Malcolm and Hoshi. It was also one of the first fanfics I found.

What was the last book you read?
- I'm currently reading two: Earth, Air, Fire and Custard, by Tom Holt; and Blackhawk Down.

Welcome, RM. Twice. :D
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Hi RoaringMice!

Welcome! :happyjump:  Like I told you, we're a bunch of nuts on these boards, but we're lots of fun.
