Watching: I was watching a 2 or 3 episode marathon of Eureka. Anybody seen the Eureka commercial of the musical "Won't You Be My Neighbor" performed by the cast?! :guffaw: I LOVED IT! And Jordan Hinson looks... like she's going to be 18 soon.

Doing: About to write again. Been on a week-long break. Don't ever let anyone tell you that women aren't a distraction.

For me, the only good writing inspiration that comes from women is rejection. Acceptance... well shit, I got nothin to write about

Loneliness is a great muse.

Is Eureka worth watching, then? The commercials look entertaining. I have no control of the remote in our house, so I haven't bothered to try, but there's always Netflix. I'm thinking I should probably try Heroes one of these days.

Eureka's very entertaining. The writers even make an effort to make the science plausible. I like it a lot.

We are going to Rochester, New York for the second family wedding of the summer. This time we will take the train so I don't have to drive. After we get back to South Milwaukee, we are going up to Oshkosh for the better part of a week for the Experimental Aircraft Association air show. So I will be going through internet withdrawal symptoms from tomorrow through Sunday July 31. :|

I'm jealous. That Oshkosh air show is usually amazing. My parents go almost every year.

I'm jealous of EVERYBODY and I'm not even going anywhere.      And like the manager even WANTS me to take a vacation, she wanna give me like a month off but I can't even go on vacation because I don't have anywhere to go and I don't have money. Like how pathetic is that. :? :explode: :( :bitch:

Oh I watched Starship Troopers 2 and 3 at the library today. Of course they were bad as expected. 3 was like way better than 2 though it was nice to see Rico again, and NO not in THAT way you gutter-heads, it was just nice to have something from the original unlike ST2 which felt like it didn't even have nothing to do with the original except for the bugs, it was so bad like some stupid zombie movie. Well still not nearly as bad as Nancy Drew though. :? :upchuck: Anyway 3 was better. Even though they were both really bad. And what's her face there was this one chick (whose name I didn't even bother to remember) the chick that Rico told he'd shoot if she asked for the bugman's autograph, well SHE CAN'T ACT and like why in all hells did she survive, (probably because she was willing to get naked duh :? ) they should have fed her to the bugs after her first line!! :upchuck: :explode: DAMN she was terrible. :?

But I really like the song!! "It's a good day to die" OMG it's such an absurd caricature that it's HILARIOUS. :guffaw:  :guffaw: And I had to rip the song off the movie it's just so funny. I'm gonna put it on my iPod. (Then I just have to remember to CHARGE the iPod before I have to go on long boring bus rides but that's a different story :? ) It's especially funny because everytime I hear the song or it's stuck in my head (like now  ) I start to imagine a bunch of dancing Klingons with armors and bat'leths and everything. And they're dancing. And I just KNOW I should make a video of that (like if I ever have the time because it's complicated to animate :? :( ). Of course it would work even better if I recorded like a more Klingonized filked version of it but that's kinda impossible to record anything in the zoo especially songs, and besides my voice is too squeaky :? :( anyway here's the song if anyone wanna listen to it without having to watch the crappy movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5sANHYp_IQ um don't pay attention to the lyrics because that person can't spell. :? Though it's particularly funny in the part that the eagle "makes out spirits sore" (instead of soar) :p

I personally thought all the women in ST2 were hot, but even having one of them run around nekkid for the vast majority of the movie couldn't make up for the fact that the movie was boring.

In some ways I like Eureka more than Heroes. Heroes is meant to be an on-the-edge-of-your-seat-not-just-for-weeks-on-end-but-until-2034-when-they-finally-finish-THE-DAMN-SHOW! show, whereas Eureka is pretty much just episodic save for a few ongoing themes, and one ongoing major plot line that they take their sweetass time with. But it's not bothersome. A few episodes go by and you forget all about it, and then they remind you of it again. But that doesn't even pop up until like Season 2. Although, they definitely hint at it in Season 1...

Anyway. I've always thought Eureka was a funny show structure since, I DO actually like it for the stories, yet if you start to look around... almost every single person in the show is a "beautiful person". There's really only ONE main character out of... 6 or 7, that isn't.

 Klingon chorus line! Yes! Accidentally slice pieces off each other as they dance?

You should go petition to get your own subforum at GateWorld.net

BTW: Didn't he just look so awkward on screen with her? It's the first frelling 5 minutes they've spent together onscreen and we're supposed to feel like they're happy new parents! They're about as conventionally happy new parents as a couple of 15 yr olds riding home from the hospital in the bride's mother's station wagon while her father stares down the road steely eyed and grips the stearing wheel like he's choaking his young, new son-in-law!

And damn I'm exhausted, but I'm about 99% moved into my new apartment. Still have some odds and ends in the old one while I camp out til Friday, that's when the cable guy comes over to transfer/set up my services. :faint:
