These old photos are precious and fragile. Bether, you may be able to enhance this photo with Photoshop and preserve it in backup form on a flash drive. I have so many early color photos which have faded, that I am going to scan them into digital form to preserve them.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

^ I plan to do much the same thing. It's just a matter of getting around to it. I got a scanner, I just haven't done anything with it yet.
At some point I want to get my dad's slides from when he served in Thailand during the Viet Nam War and scan them. He died before I was a year old. They're mostly just pictures of bars and girls...but they were his bars and his girls. I'd like to preserve them.

OK you're NOT going to believe this, but my son Jeremy and I were touring Philadelphia and DID NOT PLAN THIS!!!
We were going to the Franklin Institute (a science center) to see an exhibit on Galileo on the 400th anniversary of Galileo looking through a telescope, and we learned it was the opening day of "Star Trek: The Exhibition"! So here we are impersonating Counselor Troi and Captain Picard. My son is a fan too, although he's a little more undercover than I am. But when we entered "the bridge" (it was the WHOLE bridge, including the view screen and the two chairs up front and even a ceiling with "windows"), I jumped into one of the chairs up front (not shown in the picture) and said, "I'm sitting in Data's chair!" And Jeremy goes, "No, this is Data's chair" (the one to the left if you are facing the viewscreen). And he was right.
We looked and it had a label on it. It was so cute. And he ought to know:
Poor little guy. He's going to kill me if he sees this. lol . . .
