I'm so jealous. I wish I could grow my fingernails, but long nails sorta get in the way in my line of work. When I was in college I could grow them so long people thought they were artificial. Now I just clip them every 2 weeks. Can't even wear polish to work. It traps germs. Confused

Meh I wouldn't be jealous Confused I mean I don't even like take care of my nails or file them or put like polish or other stinky stuff on them, I just grow them till they break. And then I peel them and grow them again. Until they break Laughing but people think I actually do all that stuff I guess because I have skinny little fingers and the way my nails go they're like longer in the direction of the finger's length and not wider, so they always look long even when they're like totally peeled. And their edges are like naturally rounded so that's how they grow out without me messing with them. Confused That's kinda funny too cuz I don't even have a clue about manicures and all that nail stuff and once a girl from my dance group saw my nails, and she goes all like, "wow, who did your French??" and I look at her like Confused Confused HUH?? Well and it's kinda hard to type with long nails. And use the touchpad in my laptop especially that I use my left ring finger for that, which right now happens to have like the longest nail (but it'll break soon Laughing ) like seriously it's so long that with the length of the nail my ring finger is like the same length as the middle finger Confused Confused

I really like the old marine green from ww2. I miss it. I dont like the dress blues as much. Actually I found out that I may have the choice to commission in Alpha cammies! Laughing I think that'd be kinda cool... it'd feel more military.

see whereas I just had my employer stick me repeatedly with his running highspeed drill. Oh, and one time I stuck myself with a used needle, and insisted the patient involved take a broad spectrum test (hep, Hiv, etc) and she was one of his snooty rich friends and it was more than a fiasco.

All my kitchen knives have to be dull. My mom keeps trying to buy me a "good sharp Knife" which instantly leads to blood dripping into the food. If it can slide right through meat, it can slide right through my fingers. I don't like that.

Last night, I was at a star party with Y2Kelly and her husband (who isn't a member here), but he attended Vulkon. After we met in Pittburgh (because of Elessar introducing us) I realized I had a picture of him:

Y2Kelly's husband has a GIANT telescope, 12-inches of aperature. A huge light bucket. It's amazing! Y2Kelly has been lurking here. Maybe she'll post a picture of their new scope?

Oh, and they are going to the Creation Con in Cherry Hill, NJ.

I want his telescope!

Ann, you need the holdn'slice from pampered chef. I did my 2nd pamp chef party a couple days ago and it was over $500! It was at my nana's house and so she got 25% off and $65 free stuff and 1/2 price stuff and she's so stoked! (she loves saving money) Smile

I have no idea why I need to share this picture but

It's me and my sisters and cousins (well, I'm taking the picture). Can you guess the reason for the outing? Here's the clue. This was exactly 30 years ago:

The occassion was to see Star Wars. As part of the giddy celebrations, we went to Burger King and decided to keep wearing the crowns.

Being more than usually plain for my age, I detest having my picture taken. Here I am threatening my brother with gluey fingerprints on his lens. Or maybe I was going to decoupage his camera - I forget.

Oh My God. It worked. Help! How can I make it smaller?
