I feel better! Which is a good thing because I have to help chaperone a trip to a pumpkin farm/petting zoo tomorrow. It's supposed to rain all day. I hope "they" are wrong.

Silverbullet - I have mixed feelings about the flu shot. I've been getting them every year for the past ten years or so and have gotten the flu several times regardless. I plan to get the shot(s) anyway because I have a little guy at home and he is always bring home colds, viruses, etc. I've never had any side effects aside from a sore arm.

I hope it doesn't rain on the field trip, those were the best as a kid. I'm getting my shot. Can you get them if you're pregnant? My younger sister is five months along.

Actually, I believe you're considered in the high risk group who really OUGHT to get the H1N1 vaccine if you're pregnant.

I'm just feeling a litlte sniffly at this point. I cancelled tomorrow's classes mostly because the college, in the attempt to stop flu from spreading, says to wait until 24 hours after a fever.

Sorry for the Double... I hate my router, it didn't work ALL DAY and now when I really wanna sleep it works so I'm playing catch-up instead. Oh and I don't like most Bones fans and critics either right now. They're all upset about next week's episode where...
SPOILER!!!:
Temperence goes on a date with Booth's boss
They haven't even seen the episode yet and they're already shouting... :bitch: and whore. Um did they even notice tonight's episode where...
SPOILER!!!:
Temperence played girlfriend and mom for Parker
It's all BOOTH'S fault this time. How many men did she turn down for him huh? Watch the WHOLE show Bones fans, stop skipping episodes you think you won't like because you're missing peices of the big picture.

Today has been nothing but bad news.

One of my best friends' father was killed in a car accident yesterday. He and his wife have a cottage in Wisconsin, NW of Green Bay, and they were on their way there (just outiside Milwaukee) when they were rear-ended by a semi. He was killed instantly, her mother suffered only a broken rib. The family is devastated.

A 14 year old girl at my best friend's son's school (Naperville North) and a friend/classmate of her middle son, died 24 hours after she began showing symptoms of H1N1. She appeared to be healthy except for the virus.

My son's 6th birthday is tomorrow and my friend, who is my son's Godmother, isn't bringing her 3 children because they might have been exposed.

Can we have some good news, please? I'm going to go have a glass, or two, of Pinot Noir, right now in honor of Mr. Donald Sherman  , and we are going to get those flu shots as soon as we can!!!!

Oh God I am so sorry! It sounds so stupid to just type I'm sorry, but I truly am.

Thanks, WarpGirl. I feel so bad for my friend who lost her father. She is a widow. Her husband died 15 years ago and she has a lot of medical problems. She is such a kind person and such a good friend, I hate to see her hurt like this.

Awful and awful, Aikiweezie. I'm sorry.

Extremely scary flu reaction, too. Jesum. They did have a note on the news last night that the rate of children dying from this infection is alarming them.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

So what happens when your entire family is either sick, working, in a forign country, or dealing with pregnancy and you're also starting to get really sick and need help. You find the brother least sick and plead with him to come over to help make you a pitcher of smoothies so you won't starve or become too dehydrated. And you kick yourself because he doesn't feel good either. I owe my brother, any ideas how to make this up to him?
