I am starting to get nervous here. I have been re-reading the Medea story. The original Greek mythos, as well as the play by Euripides. Now that you have brought the E2 into the story, I find myself for some reason fervently hoping that the title of this story is referring to the Medea asteroid, rather than the sorceress Medea who abandoned her children and left them to be killed by her enemies.

Heh. And ironically, Jolene Blalock played Medea in that made for tv Jason and the Argonauts...

No. She's bonded to Trip, so any pheromones that Kov is sending out don't affect her. I've established (in Pandora) that the enhanced sense of smell that Vulcan females have is rooted in the male pon farr cycle. The male who is entering that cycle emits certain pheromones, pheromones that basically begin to start the reciprocal female cycle; for a bonded male, these pheromones affect only his mate. As an unbonded male, Kov's pheromones are pretty indiscriminate, so if T'Pol had not been bonded, she would have displayed some minor symptoms (but not the silly Super!Arousal crap that the Beebs would have likely done in my place). Seeing that T'Pol was unaffected by his condition, Kov drew the logical conclusion that she was bonded.

And I too go "Ick" at the thought of Kov/T'Pol, as much as I go "Ick" at the idea of Archer/T'Pol or Reed/T'Pol or Koss/T'Pol. Blech.

I saw that after Amaterasu nothing else is scheduled ,please don't say its the end Sad

You mean on my site? I just haven't gotten around to changing that. Following Amaterasu is Xolotl. There are other ideas I have in mind after that, but nothing solid.

And that's why I read your stuff, dude.

And yeah, Rigil's evil. But we had already established that this was due to his love for the dark side cookies. He sure loves those cookies. And the evil monkeys.

Now see, I always thought that since the timeline was reset the alternate Enterprise would cease to exist. But if it never existed, then how could they remember it? It's like Janeway said, time travel gives me a headache. Tantalizing anyway.

Shouldn't that be 'box'?

Which story was it where Soval melded with Tolaris?

Meh. Time travel in Trek rarely makes sense, so I just rolled with it. I like Lorian, and always felt that they missed a monumental opportunity by never again referencing him on the show after E2. When T'Les mentioned children in Home, I wanted T'Pol to mention him. When that transporter guy mentioned Trip not understanding what it felt like losing a child in Dud-alus, I wanted Tucker to tell him to shut the hell up. And given the ultimate ending of the series and that inane "break-up" in the "finale", I always felt that Lorian's sacrifice was totally ignored and disrespected by the showrunners.

Sorry. Genre creep. I've been reading a sci-fi book where communications lines were referenced as "vox" and it slipped in. I also noticed while going over some stuff that "systerm" also snuck in...

Endeavour: Vigrid.
