Yep, that's Josh...my computer-savvy, brainy child. Glad he's around when my 12 year old needs help with her Math homework. The beach picture was taken at Siesta Key in Florida. The scenary there always left me in awe. The soft white sand and endless water... Absolutely beautiful. Of course it's snowing here today.

Especially when they hit puberty. You can practically hear their bones groaning. My baby has the beginnings of a mustache, which is doubly depressing because suddenly so do I. And although he still screams in horror if his dad mentions anything about girls, he casually informed me the other day that he was 'in the market.'

I have a funny story. When my twins were in middle school they were begging me one day to meet their best friends (another set of twins) in Squirell Hill (another neighborhood over where all the stores are). I was like, "Can't they just come over and play basketball like usual?" No they needed to get to Squirell Hill like it was an emergency. So I dropped them off with some money for ice cream and the other mother dropped her kids off telling them to meet us back at a certain store in 2 hours. When we mothers return, no kids. So we start walking down the street looking for them. Here come our four little boys walking up the street paired up with four little girls, all dressed up with their little cute purses and high heels. Me and this other mother were astounded! We really hadn't seen it coming. LOL!

Oh, thank you for drawing on it. I always felt really stupid because I couldn't make out the early ultrasound of my own kid!

And it certainly makes for a more interesting 'first picture'.

Well, here's a very similar shot of Junior's big sister Aureilia in 2005 at about exactly 17 weeks or so. They both have the same sort of ghostly greyish hue, non?
