got up at 5:45EST this morning to see the eclipse. My husband told me about it - I had no idea.
It was really pretty, reddish-brown in color. It was amazing the number of stars we could see without all that moonshine.
Now I'm gonna try not to take a nap at work.

It was supposed to happen around 2:30 am here and my friend called me the night before to remind me. But I was up late doing homework and opted to wait for the next one. Although I;m not sure how long that'll be...

I was up late and had an early start the next day so I set the alarm and got up around 3 AM and took a quick look.
More brown than red here on the left coast.
If you click on the NASA link in my original post and scroll down the page, there is a list of more lunar eclipses for the next several years.
At the bottom of the page there are some web resource links. A couple are for lunar eclipse photography and have some outstanding images. One shows the redest eclipse I have ever seen.
