^^People have made fun of me for whatever for as long as I can remember. Actually liking sports was kind of something I got teased about as well. I even still get it at work for playing sappy music. What can I say? I happen to like sappy music. Their opinions aren't going to stop me from being who I am. Never did before so why should it now? The conventions are fun! Everyone has their own passions in life and there's nothing wrong with that. :)

Annnd... Issac Mizrahi for Target has a top that has suuuuuch Vulcan-esque styling that the first thought that came into my head was "T'Pol-wear"!

You know you're an ONLINE Trekkie when you play with your dog for 10 minutes, then sit down to get online, and your dog comes over, draps herself across your lap, and uses a paw to pull your hand away from the keyboard.

LOL!!! SAD! This is SO SAD!!

When even your DOG knows you have a problem!

Your dog drags your hand off the keyboard? LOL, my rabbit just hops under the desk and steps on the switch on the electical strip shutting down the computer. This has happened more than once. I am beginning to think it is a deliberate act of computer sabotage, now that you have told us about your dog. And I have a friend whose cat hits the play button on her answering maching to listen to the messages. We really don't have to go far to find non-Human intelligence, do we? Hey, dogs, cats, and rabbits all have pointed ears, right?

My cat stands up on her hind legs, wraps her front legs around my left forearm as best she can, and then drags downward. :D

vulcans are influencing our way of life! KILL THEM ALL!!

My cat jumps on my desk and settles himself right on top of the keyboard or right where the mouse is. If I move the mouse, he moves to where it is. He also likes to bite the little fuzzy knob on the end of a microphone....

Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with a pet that disapproves. And I'm so SURPRISED! I'm a relatively new dog owner (a year and a half). I never knew dogs were so smart.

When you notice that there are an awful lot of cool ST costumes on ebay this week...including couple for Vulcan priests. From Kirshara. The shoes are very interesting.
Syrran's costume is on there too.
And Archer's water polo medals.

Oh I have a Trekkie story...

Like once when I was filming something my costars and I started talking and we got to Star Trek, turned out that like everyone on set was a Trekkie and then we started arguing like who's the biggest Trekkie. And one of them was like "I stood in for LeVar on TNG, what's your claim for the throne??" and I go all like :? :? because well, in the TNG era I wasn't even old enough to stand in for Wesley. Then I open my backpack and grab a pair of pointy ears. And put them on. (And keep them on like for the rest of the day)

"...okay... you win."

The Issac Mizrahi top that I mentioned earlier.

Seriously, the man must have been watching the sci-fi channel when he came up with this. It's offered in a white/brown pattern also that looks like something T'Pol would wear.

Woah, you're right about that. It does look like something T'Pol would wear. Actually, it's a cute top in its own right as well.
