Really loved this ep, guys. Great humor, great story, and great use of technical terms (tensile strength :D)

I'd write for you, but I think my stuff is a bit too emotional and unfocussed to write anything like that (translation: I'm a schitzo writer...).

And, T'Sara, I'd love to see your story! Post it!

An intriguing lead in to the next season.

:? :P Have you seen "The Sound of Logic"?

I'd have the cast running around in lederhosen and filking within seconds. Dangerous. 8)

So, was it completely obvious that this was a redux of another episode, or did we do a pretty good job of changing things up?

Thre were the obvious bits and pieces - mostly the business concerning T'Pol's letter. But I much prefer this take on it. The TnT'er in me really likes how Trip sees how Archer is treating her, and takes him to task for it. Along that line - I'm curious to see how Trip & T'Pol work together on problems from here on out. They now have a secret about the other - how many more will they be willing to share?

I also liked how the Vulcan captain, Vanik behaved. He was Vulcan, but not without compassion and curiosity. I do wonder what role T'Lyr plays in T'Pol's fate - why was she so adament about T'Pol returning home? A relative of Koss's? Of her's? Or just a busy-body?

I already let it slip at the other board, so I might as well say it here too, but T'Lyr is a member of T'Pol's family. I won't say what relation in particuliar just yet, but you'll find out more about T'Pol's family as the series progresses. :)

That is one thing that I think is lacking in most series, and it bothers me. Nobody lives in a void. But few series bother to give their characters back stories like family, school, old friends who actually *affected* them, etc.

That's one of the things that bugged me about ENT, actually. Aside from a few quick snippets, we never got to meet or see any of their family members. Definately something we're changing with FND. ;)

I just wanted to say how excited I am to see the hiatus is over.

I reread "Soli" in prep for the new addition. The transition is uber smooth and both stories are excellent. A great kick off of things to come!

I found the bit about Soval and his reaction quite intriguing. :)

Already did a while back actually, in the "post a scene" thread. ;)
