No, you're not. I've been following the show since it began (although I've missed a couple of episodes here and there), and these last couple of episodes have really irked me with the overwhelming silliness. Honestly, the only thing that continues to appeal to me about this show are some of the character interactions (not the Allison/Carter interactions, though. Frankly, they bore me almost as much as Archer/T'Pol bored me). The plots themselves require me to sigh and try to turn my brain off while I'm watching the show.

And Jo is easily the hottest woman on that show (although every time they refer to her as ex-special forces, I have to roll my eyes).

I think Carter has more chemistry with Jo than with Allison. The new guy and Jo aren't too bad together, either. I forget his name... the ex-crook.

Yeah, him. He's sorta cute in a kind of smarmy way. I also liked in the last ep how Jo was a regular churchgoer. It makes her less tough, more human. I think they need to do a Jo-centric episode.

Last week's was kinda stupid.
And of course they have the whole "will they, or won't they" thing goin on with Carter/Allison, and looks like with Stark/Allison which just irritates the crap outta me. I've stopped watching other shows because of that. I'm more interested in the mystery with what's going on with Henry and Kim and the Artifact. Where the heck is Beverly?

Honestly I don't see the "will they/won't they" with Carter and Allison. What I saw with Carter and Allison was Carter worship the ground she walked on UNTIL she went behind his back with Nathan on that dream research with Kevin, and then he got pissed, which actually lasted more than one episode, which I liked. They may not have mentioned it after that 2nd episode, but didn't everyone else notice how much "cooler" he was towards her? Seriously, IMO what they did was similar to the Trip/T'Pol thing in that, what Connor often refers to as his character losing his spine lead into the character treating her like shit to get his own self-respect back, i.e., Trip trying to blow off T'Pol in Bound before she kissed him and still not jumping for joy after she did kiss him. IMO Jack has moved on and away from Allison, and the BIG time move with Allison is to put her back with Stark... The fantastic writing in this show, IMO, is mostly wrapped up in Stark. Initially we hated him, and starting with the "android kid" episode, we were gradually forced to see that he's a good guy... moreso when he was no longer head of GD and got to freelance on his own and really show his genius.

I would be surprised if they put Carter and Allison together, but they might *play with it* when the bombshell hits about the whole previous life... cuz you know it's going to. Like I said, I think Jack's going to start having flashes from it, as we've seen him start to. I guess I'd be surprised because they are so-endearing us to Stark that it would be a hell of a slap in the face to what they are clearly intending to be a well-liked character if Allison did a 180 and went back with Jack. I don't know if the nerdy guy will last... I also see chemistry with Jo and Carter but isn't that kind of like Archer/T'Pol or Picard/Crusher in the command hierarchical sense? Doesn't seem like it would end well.

They're definitely taking the Beverly storyline very slow... but think about it, they kind of have to. The first season only had 13 episodes and the "artifact" story was the big one, the central story, the cliffhanger/finale, and lead into the 2nd season. The 2nd season is going to be 26 episodes, so they have to take it slow because clearly the artifact story is going to take on the same role in season 2, it'll be the season ender and lead into season 3.

Does anyone wonder/think if they'll do anything with ACTUAL aliens in this show? They try to keep the science down-to-earth sorta like Eureka is to Star Trek in a sciency way as Battlestar Galactica was to Star Trek in a militaristic way... more down-to-earth, in most cases more gritty and - not without exception - but usually, more realistic.

Does anyone have any ideas about that last episode of Season 1 when Beverly was talking to someone on the video-phone? Anyone notice that the video conferencing phone belonging to the person she was talking to appeared to be from GD? When it turned off, in the center of it was a rotating "GD" emblem and it was the same Cisco Systems video teleconferencing phone that Nathan was using in the "future episode/finale" of Season 1 when he was at his own company called Stark Industries. Who could it have been? One wouldn't think Nathan is complicit because he was implanted with that subcutaneous chip, but it's a valid inquiry as to the phone thing. Go back and watch it, I thought it seemed very deliberate to show that the two phones were identical.

Also, what the hell happened to Taggert? Jo really dropped him like a hot potato which was sad... my roommate thought he was gross and too old for her but I found it rather refreshingly bizarre. I'm intrigued by anything that diverges from the typical "Hot guy + hot girl" arrangement.

I really liked a few episodes back when they did the whole thing about Carter's HS girlfriend that died in the car accident... that was a really moving scene at the end when Zoe apologized.

All-in-all I thought the last 3 episodes have been better than the first few were of the season... they felt a little drab. We'll have to see how this "Carter's t3h h0tn3ss" thing goes tomorrow

I did notice that Carter was pissed at Allison, but I wasn't sure why because I missed about three episodes in a row for various reasons. So, I'm a little behind on what's going on with the artifact.
I am starting to like Stark more and that he's away from GD.
I do think that Carter/Jo have great chemistry. Maybe not in a romantic way but the actors have great chemistry and that shows on screen.
Maybe Beverly was talking to Larry :)
I was wondering about Taggert too. He was crazy.
I thought the ep where Jack's HS girlfriend had been killed was great too. Great scene with Carter/Zoe.

Just watched the "Carter as Love God" episode. Wonderful. The science was even semi-believable. Carter/Jo definitely has potential, and Zane/Jo does, too... and I loved the scene where the sexual harrassment instructor said something about "my career is screwed because I just frenched the sheriff in front of my boss".

Yeah, little trivia tidbit - that was Lexa Doig (new Doctor/General's Daughter from SG1) -- who is also married to Michael Shanks (Dr. Jackson on SG1) and he's appearing in next week's Eureka episode.

Great episode! Loved the "just frenched the sheriff" comment too.
