Somebody PLEASE make Zombie shut up. Like now she goes around telling people she wrote Pippi Longstocking and Astrid Lindgren actually stole it from her. Like what the frell the books were first published like way before Zombie was even born!!

I have idea's for fics but need to ask peoples advice....Distracted hope you don't mind if I PM you....I have medical questions that I need to ask in regards to my story.
Also I might need Rigil Kents advice on Battle scenes since he was Army Inf....anyone know if he is around?
He hasn't posted in a week or so.....has he moved yet?

I just got back from watching the Rugby World Cup match between Canada and Japan-- one of my coworkers scouted around and got two tickets for myself and another teammate to join him at the game. Despite the rain (and the achey throat that I feel coming on as a result), it was a lot of fun. Bought myself a beret to blend in 
and huddled in the stands to try and make heads or tails of the sport. We had great seats right on the edge of the pitch behind the goalpost, and in perfect view of the Canadian and Japanese alternates warming up. 
(my coworker and I liked the canadian alternates better because they didn't wear long raincoats to cover their legs like the Japanese did. Nooooo it was short-shorts all the way!)
After a so-so day yesterday and today, this was a great way to put some fun back into the trip.
The best parts:
Rugby rocks... how many other sports keep playing around the medic and injured person on the field?

- Since most of the crowd were locals, no one was "for" one team or the other-- lots of people had both flags and waved them as necessary, and we cheered raucously for whichever team was closest to scoring a goal. We booed or groaned sympathetically whenever anyone took a particularly hard hit. That was fuuuuun!
The French really really really take the wave seriously. One section kept screwing it up and the boos were insanely loud. Sometimes we spent more time watching for our time to do the wave instead of watching the game.
The people around us were nice, funny, patiently amused with the two clueless American girls, and the ones behind us didn't even mind when we popped open our umbrella and huddled under it... in fact, they helped us position it better. The people in front of us made sure that our view wasn't blocked.. and when it was, gestured for us to stand up to see better, with an apologetic shrug about the rows in front of them.

Sounds like an interesting company. You ought to find out if they have entry level positions as well. Not everyone in a film production company needs a college degree, I'll bet.
