Thank you! I pulled out the video on my Ipod during ballet class today and we all ooooohed and ahhhed over how pretty the sillouetting turned out. I think even my teacher was amazed at how striking the red backdrop looked.
justTripn wrote:I love those songs. They don't write songs like that anymore! And there's a skating connection too--you know Queen songs, and the Mighty Ducks, and hockey in general.
The music was amazing (and you're right about the skating-- I brought the mix cd to public skate one day-- the energy always goes through the roof when "We Will Rock You" comes on, and another lady always wants me to replay "Somebody to Love"). Of course, as the oldest in class, it was sad that my teacher and I were the only ones who knew all of the songs. The looks on all of my classmate's faces when they found out that the song was actually saying "Who wants to live forever when love must die" was classic (and I was the one who begged my teacher to put that one in!).

Thanks Mitchell - It's so nice to see rolling green hills with little to no development
Sadly much of the non-developed land around my hometown and other areas of eastern NC have been lost (not that we had rolling green hills - we had flat green land).

"the top of my hill" - now there's a lovely phrase.
How beautiful it all is.

How beautiful it all is.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Re: Member pics

I live in Piedmont and am born in Turin, the Piedmont capital (this explains why I love the Barolo and the Barbaresco). I was pleased to send a unconventional picture of the place which I live in: is the hill of Superga, with the church that was built there after the victory of the Piedmont people against the Frenchmen, in 1706. I hope you like it.
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Asso, lovely photos! The kittens are so cute and the sky above the church is beautiful.
Mitchell, your farm is so peaceful looking in those gently rolling hills. What a great place to live, although farming is a lot of work!
Now I just have to get off my butt and take some pictures of the lake and the boat and get them on photobucket for you guys to see.

Okay, I kept promising some photos, so here are a few.
Me and my husband Jim on the boat ready for a Coast Guard Auxiliary patrol:

looking into the cabin on our boat:

view of the stern of our boat in its slip:

the boat being hauled out of the water last fall:

Grandkids at the winter powwow- Image age 16 and Shayla three months old:

Grandkids at the winter powwow- Dylan age 13 and Skyelar age 2 1/2:

I got 5 photos out of Photobucket! That is a new record for me.
