Dis is on my author alerts at ff.net so I found out about it that way. And promptly spent time reading it that should've been spent doing reading for Modern Britain and Empire. It's really good! But that will likely surprise nobody at all.

No, I was serious. This is a new thing for both of us, and we really didn't know how well it would go over.

Well, I think this is very interesting.
It is still soon.
I personally want to see how thread will be disentangled. Even if subsequently, maybe, I will not appreciate the things.
But I believe new experiences should be lived (Well... perhaps… not precisely everything!

Aside from the complaints I gave in the review thread on the site, I don't really have anything more to add, other than to suggest not doing more of those things I complained about.

I'd be interested in seeing more backstory on Daniels' relationship with those two Andorians, like how far they go back, how they came to be in business together, etc. Unless of course you want to keep him mysterious. It would also be interesting to see what the fallout from the Vulcans attacking an Andorian ship and arresting two of their citizens would be considering that both powers were supposed to be doing the coalition thing with Earth, not to mention that whole war thing that Soval and Trip worked so hard to prevent. Looks like it could be a setback for them.
