Which Kevin? I don't think KTR is working on anything, and I wouldn't know about anything Kevin from HoT is up to.

As for my story, I'm hashing out the last part, but I'm not sure when I'll release it. After that, I'm afraid that I'm done writing for the ENT-verse, so I can focus more on Foundations.

Excuse me, CX.
But why? :)
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

It just bums me out so much anymore to do anything that has to fit into ENT's frakked up canon. I'd rather just write everything the way it should've been to begin with, which is what I'm doing with Foundations.

I understand.
And, someway, I try to do the same thing, following my... obsession... for Trip and T'Pol.

Sorry - got my fic writers mixed up. I meant Rigil. See what I was saying about being so busy I can't keep things straight? ;)

Good to hear about your story, and I'll have to check out Foundations when I have time. I understand your frustration with the Ent canon. It's one of the reasons my story is taking so long to finish.

However, all things considered, I wouldn't give me such a lot of worries.
Maybe, if you keep writing, it will go better. :D

He revised the ending of Elysium and posted another scene on his current END story and on his Divergent Paths story, but I'm pretty sure you already commented on that over at WWBJ. He's basically given up on Star Trek altogether for now as he's lost interest in it. He's working on another project now based off of some feedback his writing instructor gave him.

I am so, so, far behind in my reading! I printed a bunch of Rigil stories awhile back, and just printed Reflecting To You. I guess longer stories intimidate me, because I want to read them all the way through in a big block of free time so I remember all the details so I can give a nice comment on them. But, sigh, I only get short blocks of free time! So I read the short stories first. Hey, this post actually belongs in the whine thread I thing!
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

did anyone else get the sense that who trip was "feeling" when he touched tpol might have been mu pol, at least partly.,
especially if tpol was still shielding herself.
that some how tpol might be channeling mu pol??

and if trip thinks his tpol has given him a rough time wait till he finds out what mu pol did to his counter part and the consequences/
(the hours in the agony booth)

he might not be as protective
;)

though oddly enough mu tucker never did report what mutpol had done.

Now that you mention it, I guess I can see that.

Hey Zane, nice to see you on this thread (and to know that you’re reading RtY!; I love your work so you can imagine the compliment it is).

I fully confess that I take a long time to get fanfics going plot-wise because I relish the character interactions so much, and with a venue as free as fanfic I indulge myself in the kind of satisfying simmering that is just not possible in original fiction. I’ll always agree my stories start slow, because I have so much character I want to peel back first.

As for the time between updates… I am doing the best I can with an insanely busy schedule. Working two jobs and doing 8-10 hours of martial arts a week doesn’t leave a lot of free time for writing (much to my chagrin). If I could only figure out how to stop needing sleep I’d be set.

Now let me see if I can answer your questions.

Do I have the story plotted out already in detail – yes and no. I have it plotted out, but it’s not in detail. I have key points I want to hit along the way. The details fill themselves in as I go, and often in ways I never foresaw.

Do I know where it’s going to go – yes. Definitely. I’m not the kind of person that can just start a story with no middle and end in mind. I have to know the skeleton outline of the whole story before I can start on a fic. That’s not to say the ending won’t change during the course of writing it, but I can’t start a story that I haven’t already dreamed up AN ending for.

How will I end it – you don’t really expect me to tell you that, do you? :) I’ll say only what I said in my last author’s note, that I am an avid, die-hard Trip/T’Pol fan and you should have faith in that.

Hope that answers at least most of your questions!

pookha:

I think I was trying to say the same thing the page before. Somehow Mu T'Pol is connecting with Trip more so than our T'Pol.

MissAnnThropic:

I can only speak for myself of course I don't mind the week or two between updates as the quality is there. Just don't forget about us as some others who had unfinished stories still languishing out there. And good gravy! with two jobs and 8-10 hours of martial arts, you certainly are no longer the
sad little fangirl who spends her days watching tapes of her favorite shows.
Is the quote kinda accurate?

MissAnn Thropic I don't mind waiting for it taking awhile longer for your next chapter to be posted in a week or two if the story is well told that's the important thing. The characters points of view in this story is what I like about Reflecting to you. Keep it up it's getting really intersting with Trip's major decsion I want to find out what happens next with Trip and T'Pol and their bond.

Yeah... that 'sad little fangirl' with all that free time isn't really an accurate description anymore. Luckily for me, it seems like you guys don't mind the wait (may not like it, but don't mind it). I don't get much time to write on RtY, but when I do I always enjoy it; this story was in the back of my mind for so long that it's very satisifying to finally write it... even if it is at a tortoise pace.

Well, that's all I have for now. I just got home from my martial arts class and I have to go to bed so I'm not dead tired during my martial arts tomorrow!

So...what style of martial arts do you study?
