It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Re: U.S.S. Enterprise
By jove!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Wow, The Enterprise looks neat in that picture.

Well, I'm a traditionalist and think they should have stuck by the original design. By all means update it with details and such (as they have with the remastered TOS episodes and in IaMD). But this is a new design that reminds me more of the refit Connie from TMP - at least the saucer. The nacelles look even more different.
She's got an awfully nice bum!

Since I'm a Tos fan I do prefer the original design of the Enterprise but still find the other new design interesting to see the changes between the 2 ships from the series and the new movie.

That was my attitude too, but you'd be surprised (or maybe you wouldn't) at the amount of flak I've caught over that viewpoint, even on a personal level.

Awe CX, I don't care either way.
I'm so detached from all this movie junk that I keep forgetting they're even making one.
But I can see why you would feel that way. It feels like a gimmick - they'll do stuff to improve on effects and design, worrying about all outward appearances, but ignore all the suckie stuff that really matters - like writing quality. Why do all that crap when you can just make what's already there look more realistic. Sometimes the more subtle in their changes, the better.

I too wish they would work more with the original design and just make details of it look more realistic.
The trailer was interesting but I hope the movie is more in line with TOS and that the story and acting engage me.

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
Re: JJ Abram's U.S.S. Enterprise
Youtube was just fine with me to watch the trailer .I don't have Quicktime on my computer.Too many vulnerabilities with a chance a Virus infecting your computer.I don't want any more computer crashes. And anyone who's interested at Trekmovie & trek bbs has been posting stills of a new hidden feature on the site web cams of the Enterprise under construction.Trekcore has posted HD stills of the movie trailer 2 pages of Hd stills of Enterprise at http://movies.trekcore.com/gallery/thum ... ?album=272

Does anyone know what this part of the ship is supposed to be?
