Well, no one should be close to Fleet Captain yet on this board since the ranks were all reset back to early January last week... so I think you've got a little time to prod someone over at wwbj to hurry and get to that rank.

Tennisgirl's the closest, needing less than 100 posts to get to that rank over there, you just have to convince her to post a bit more between matches... Smile

Well, Flaptain is a nonsensical rank anyway. It doesn't really exist in RL. I've always rationalized it as being more of a position rather than a rank. A Fleet Captain is either the commander of a flagship (i.e. a ship that has the Commodore or Rear Admiral in command of a fleet squadron) or the commander of a smaller fleet unit not large enough to warrant a Commodore in charge). His rank would be that of a Captain.
