Sasquatch on Mars!

Sounds like the eccentric title of a new Trip n T'Pol story I'd cook up... lol...

Uh, looks like another thingy like that face on Mars that they exposed as a wind sculpted rock, or like the man-in-the-moon. Boy are we Humans gullible, and just so hungry for other intelligent life in the universe to come for a visit. :? If they really are out there, well, let's just hope it is the Vulcans and not the Klingons who first arrive at our door step.

It's a rock, and not even a very big one.

But it's definitely spooky.

What do you think if we keep it as something coming from MU Universe? 8)
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Excellent point about humans wanting other intelligent life.

It's a rock. And yes, an interestingly shaped one. But until just a couple of years ago when it fell, the Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire was interestingly shaped to. Our minds make these connections because it's familiar. I think it tells us more about ourselves than anything. (Check out the NH state quarter for the Old Man, or just click here.)

Hey, I know a guy who has a sharp rocky chin like that?

Uh, remember one of the first ENT episodes that first year - you know, the rock people in the cave. Where everyone thought T'Pol was in cohoots with the rock people? And it turned out they were all on a bad trip from native spores they were breathing?

We want to find live on Mars so badly we try to animate rocks! :wtf:

I was reading the news at Spaceflight when I saw the picture og the Mars rock very strange but intriguing picture. I was thinking of the Rock people from Strange new world. When I saw that picture or the supposed face of the mountain that looks like a Mans face on Mars. lol.

When Spirit and Opportunity first got to Mars, and announced signs of water in the past, I was beside myself and telling people next we should look for fossils! A few days later aol announcing that people (regular people) found THIS in the data from Mars. NASA wasn't explaining it. See the spiral macaroni shape?

I said THAT is a sign of life and made it my screen saver for a month. I never did hear that the issue was resolved. In the news, people just lumped it with the other strange rocks and sitings and made jokes about it.

BUT like a year later, our astronomy club had a speaker who worked on the Mars rover project, in fact was currently working on the project. In the question and answer session I asked "What about the spiral macaroni shape?" What is that?

Turns out I was RIGHT all along. IT IS a sign of life. It's a sign of US. It was a drill bit shaving! HA! It came off when they drilled the rock.
I'm donating my body to science fiction.

I just hope they make a manned expedition to Mars in my lifetime. That is more likely than my grandkids having continuous health insurance coverage though. I am not too fond of our current priorities. But I am glad we even have those rovers on Mars and that they are still working!
