If your local library doesn't have plans to get it, you might see if they can get a copy through Inter Library Loan. It will cost a small fee (if I remember right, it was something like $5), but basically you fill out a request for the book at your library, with the information from another library (in another system) which does have the book available, and then they send it on, and that library (if they take part in ILL) will send it your library, and you can check it out...
Most libraries have their card catalogues on the computer now, so if you know of another library system, you could look them up online and see if they have a copy available...

Was this the army that invaded your country, ma'am? No, officer, they were taller than that...
How about this one? I'm not sure--get them to march up and down a bit...

I searched the other libraries and they don't have it either

ILL is a wonderful service, and much quicker now than it used to be. We used to charge postage, but now it's completely free. I know we own TGTMD (because I just read it)

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Try some of the larger libraries, then, TPoptarts. Like Los Angeles or New York or wherever. Those systems undoubtedly have a few copies floating around...

Here you go, TPoptarts, I found a listing for it in the Cincinnati public library's catalogue--
Andy Mangel's books owned by the Cincinnati and Hamilton Co. public library
First one listed, too.
Just print off a copy of the full details of the book, and take it with you to your local library and then ask them if they do Inter Library Loan and if you can request this book through it... It must be one they have on the shelf, and not in the paperback racks, too, so it should be in better condition...
ETA: It's probably in LA's system, but it's probably listed as a paperback, and those never came up for whatever reason in the database search for our local library here in Dayton, even though we had it. Probably because the paperbacks tend to get damaged quickly and then taken out of the system so they don't keep a full record that can be searched...

Well, that depends... according to Cincinnati's website, you're allowed to have it for 3 weeks and it's not renewable. It is a $5 fee. I don't know what the specific rules may be for your library system, though, on how long you can keep it.
You also might want to double check that you can get the book at your local library, because sometimes they only allow it to go through the main branch of the library.
I know ours would send the ILL requests out to the specific branches, but not everyone does that. You also might want to double check the paperback racks at the branch--like I said, it could be on those and just not listed in the system because of how those tend to get damaged so quickly.

3 weeks won't be long enough for me to read it
I'll try to look for it at our library but it's kinda weird, because they do have it like listed in the system, but they don't actually have the book anywhere.

Ah. I presume they have the listing from before the book was actually released in the catalogue then, we had that for books so people would know it was coming out and put in reserves for it (so they could see if there was a large demand or not, to decide how many copies to order).
I think they must have it on the paperback racks somewhere. I can't imagine a large system like Los Angeles not having it at all.
But if you can't find it at all, and there's no luck with the ILL, let me know. Maybe we can work something out...

Re: Trip and T'Pol's future in the relaunch novels - Your Though
I think that the more attractive thing of "Star Trek" is "Star Trek Enterprise" and the more attractive thing of "Star Trek Enterprise" is the "Love Story" between Trip and T' Pol.
I think: Trip is alive and the "Love Story" between Trip and T' Pol is dead? Utterly foolish and absurd!
Forgive me if my language is poor, but I do not know well the English language.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: Trip and T'Pol's future in the relaunch novels - Your Though
I am hoping that the novels will develop the same way my personal ST universe does. If they don't, I will just go on thinking my 'personal canon' is what REALLY happens. What really happens is that Trip and T'Pol marry and have a couple of kids. To come in line with canon where Spock THINKS he is the first Vulcan/Human hybrid, Trip and T'Pol's kids grow up on Vulcan hiding their Human heritage and merge into the Vulcan population. This is possible because Vulcan family life is very private. There are descendents of Trip and T'Pol in Spock's time. The family just remains unknown to avoid any anti-hybrid attitudes on Earth or Vulcan. At an unspecified time in the future, they do reveal their heritage and are accepted.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.
