In my defense, I must point out that I'm SUPPOSED to be on drugs, being only 2 weeks post-op as of today and required to do twice daily exercises... which HURT unless one has nice drugs to dull the pain. (Well, they actually hurt no matter what, but they hurt LESS with my little buddy Hydrocodone on board. 
)
I go back to work half day today, though... on crutches. No drugs for me from noon to five except Aleve. Sigh. Alas poor Vicodin, I knew him, Horatio.
I have, however, been doing most of my writing lately under the influence. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Only time will tell.

Keep up with those exercises, Distracted! But I guess you KNOW that! And here is a reminder why:
Someone at my work recently had double knee replacement. She did all her exercises and really pushed to get them done. Her recovery is coming along just fine and she is regaining her flexibility. And so did our custodian, who has a very physical job, recover well from his single knee replacement because he did all his exercises.
Another coworker's mother had knee replacement surgery and didn't do the exercises as much as she should. She has not regained as much mobility as she could have.
I know your surgery was not knee replacement, but still - physician heal thyself (you are probably cringing at that trite overdone phrase) and follow your physical therapy plan!
