Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

As far as I am concerned, you are more than welcome to this North American winter weather. Take it, please. With my blessing. Snow, sleet, freezing rain, howling winds and all.

One (1) degree F tonight.

I want my global warming. I demand my global warming. For years now, ever since they stopped howling back in the seventies about the new ice age and started howling about global warming, I have been promised that if I would only continue my gluttonous overconsumption of fossil fuels, I would soon be able to throw away my winter woolies.

I have done my part, and no one can claim that I have not. I have driven to the corner store, even back when I was healthy enough to walk. I have mowed my lawn religiously, or paid someone else to do it. With BIG mowers too. I have ridden recreational vehicles. I have purchased goods made in third world countries with lax environmental laws so that their foul smoke stacks would produce a disproportionate amount of smog compared to the factories here in the developed world. I have done my part like a good American consumer to jack up those greenhouse gasses.

And what am I getting for all that expense and effort? Twenty years ago they swore to me that by the year 2005 the world would be ten degrees warmer, the coastal areas would be underwater, and that the frost line would be north of Quebec. Well I will tell you folks, I am considerably south of Quebec right now, and

I AM FREEZING MY COJONES OFF!

I want my global warming. I have worked for it. I paid for it. I deserve it. And by Henry I am going to have it or SOMEBODY is going to be very sorry.

WHO CAN I SUE?

Bnb, I am totally against global warming but your writing from the point of view defending it has me in stitches so much I forgive you! Cause I am very tired of this winter too - not being nine years old anymore (way beyond it in fact) I am scared of falling on ice bound side walks.

Maybe you should sue us finnish people, because it seems we have taken all the global warming here. Every summer it gets hotter and we make new records and now we've had several warm winters on a row and are making new records again and the nature is confused and the birds are confused.

This is what I miss.

You need to try Michigan, or New York, or Wisconsin, or Montana, or Minnesota, or anywhere here north or the Mason-Dixon line. You can find all the frozen stuff you want. In copious and miserably generous quantities. Especially at the higher elevations.

I am told that Greenland was named "Green"land because it used to be... you know... green. It ain't green anymore is it? But apparently from what I read it is starting to turn green again at the extreme southern end. Somewhere I read that for the first time in living memory, people in Greenland are able to grow a few of their own vegetables. I am not sure if I am citing the article with precision. I would have to google it to be sure. But Earth has been a lot warmer than this before, even within historical times, and we all did not turn into pumpkins. Nor did the planet crash and burn, nor did Humanity become extinct.

Y'all NEED to come live with me in the Southwest of Canada.

2 days ago it was so balmy Aureilia and I went out on the porch and rolled our pants and sleeves up (no coats) and played in a big tub of water with measuring cups. Pouring and splattering and enjoying the "frigid" "Canadian" "weather".

Bwahahahahaaaaaaahaaaaa!

Hey Linda, at the drugstore I saw these slim little rough wire cords that you figure-8 over the bottom of your shoes and it's kind of like tire chains for your feet so you can walk without slipping.

Due to the above comment, I don't need any. You should look for some though! If you can't find any, lemme know and I'll mail ya some.

It was 55 degrees today. I had to wear long sleeves! The thought of long sleeves after Mardi Gras is just wrong... I mean, really!

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Yes! Exactly! I saw them again today and looked closely in case Linda wanted to know what they were called. "Hmmm. YakTrax." Clearly, others are In the Know About Yaktrax.

Okay, I will look for them. I already have these square metal things that have four sharp points on them, but they are hard to fit over my boots. And the darn things slide off the sole of the boot. So I will look for this other thing you mentioned.
