Sounds like a plan!
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

There's a really neat story (so far) starting up at fanfiction called Birthright: Shakedown which is a rewrite of the series. So far I really like what I've seen and urge you to check it out ... this third chapter does a great job at making a more interesting Jonathan Archer character for me...

I just checked it out, looks really good so far... I've invited the author on over.

By the way, in case anyone didn't notice, there was a fairly large fic update:

Payment - Part 8 - Blacknblue

To Boldly Go - Part II - Distracted

Do Unto Others - GinaMR

Imprisoned - R and NC17 versions - KRN

Addiction and Disease - NC17 versions - KRN

Liberty Two-Four - Part I - Buurman

Enjoy!

You mean, "To Go Boldly", right?

Looks like I really need to get my act together and start reading again.

Uh, I have several ideas and a few partially written things but I am not intently working on anything right now. Maybe after the boat comes out of the water in mid October, I can concentrate on writing again. But I am enjoying reading other people's stories!

I've got some things brewing in my head of mine at the moment.

I actually just sent a chapter to be beta'ed.... As soon as I make some minor adjustments I'll post.

Hi

Hope you don’t mind me dropping in! :)

As it’s almost two weeks since the latest instalment of Connections was posted I thought it would be a good idea give you an update!

I am currently reworking Chapter 10, the last chapter. It should be ready to send in early next week.

However all my revising of something I thought I’d finished :? has rekindled my interest in telling more of the story. The second part, of what was supposed to be a trilogy, is partly written so once I’ve finished and I am happy with it, I’ll start submitting - probably early 2008.

Thanks to everyone who has read and taken the time to leave comments about the story so far.

Opal

I am working on a story BEFORE the boat comes out of the water. Didn't think I would get back to writing before Oct 13. Actually I was sitting in the boat's cabin when the writing started to flow. At least that boat is good for something other than a big black hole my money goes down! (see pictures of boat in the member pics thread if you want to know what a REAL black hole looks like).

Almost ready for some beta input, but not quite ready. It's called "The Vampire in the Bog", because of the upcoming spooky season of Halloween and Celtic New Year. Which is actually my favorite religious holiday, but that is another story, so I won't go into it here. The story is something of a mystery and actually set in the summer time - another Trip and T'Pol vacation story like my story "A Mystic Experience." But it is in a different setting: Lubec Maine where my brother lived for a few years. And it is in three chapters as it is a little longer. Again I am using some of my own photos to illustrate it. I got excited about the idea and started to run with it. A beta reader should bring me back down to logic and correct grammar though, LOL. Got some dialog down, a few scenes. And an outline, but it keeps changing.

Looking forward to it. I've really enjoyed a lot of the seasonal stories I've read. Just re-reading A Very Vulcan Christmas. Can't wait for your story. :D
