Happy Easter

Postby Asso » Sat Mar 22, 2008 12:57 pm

I don't think tomorrow I will be able to be with you in the morning.
So, I want to wish a "Happy easter" now.
To everyone. :D

Happy Easter to you my friend. And to all our non-Christian friends, have a happy weekend.

Spring has come at last. :D

Isn't there an Ivymae Easter catoon? It doesn't seem to be on Enterprise Oddities...
Can anyone find it?

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?

Anyone do anything special?

My son took off eastward to visit his big sister and her husband for his spring break, leaving us old folks unsupervised. I got my wife a dozen roses, a chocolate bunny, and a fuzzy little bird that goes peep-peep-peep when you push a button on its belly. In return, she kidnapped me today and dragged me to the local steakhouse for a sirloin. It was the first steak in years that was too big for me to finish. I have no idea what is happening to me, must be getting old.

Otherwise we slept in, took turns at a long, hot, soothing, soak (emphasis on hot and soothing) and essentially vegetated. Anyone do anything exciting and noteworthy?

My boys ran off to their friends houses :( and me and my husband went out for Israeli food. We live in a very Jewish area and restaurants are still open on Easter and Christmas. It was nice.

And I cleaned the house! :D

I essentially came home for Spring Break, did lots of pullups and pushups, slept in on Sunday, went out to brunch with my family and then had another religious argument with my sister

I'm hopeful that Break will allow me to get some writing done.

Happy Easter, everyone! And Happy Spring Equinox to those who celebrate it, like me. My husband celebrates Easter and expects an Easter basket from Oriana (it is in her PD - 'position description' as pet rabbit). Jim is just a large child at heart. So he got his basket from Oriana with lots of candy, some toothpaste, some triple A batteries he is always running out of, and a card featuring a chocolate bunny with a big bite out of its bum. The card text was "Unlike you, most people start with the ears".

He loved it.
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

Happy Easter to all!

Linda, that chocolate bunny card would be perfect as an Easter card for dear Cranky, Grumpy Ambassador Soval.
