I'm surprised that it wasn't deleted.

Oh Good Lord. Where was the blog post that started this bull located?

It's on the Admin's blog, second one down last I saw. Or you can look through Coffeecat's blog and she has a link to it in there.

Re: TrekSpace
Splendid Avatar, KTR!

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

With HoT, it was the first time I'd ever been banned, and with TrekSpace, it's been the shortest amount of time before I was banned.

Yes, it's a very cool place, and fortunately I set up my profile there before my TrekSpace profile got banned.

So for advertising, I was wondering if you guys could send out invitations to your friends network (but only to people you trust at the moment 'cause I don't want Alec to get wind of this until I'm ready to hit the road.)

Kind of like that the guy's major defense for anything was that he ran a couple of websites. I run a couple websites now, I even moderate a BBS, does that make me infalible?

I run three websites now. YOU'RE ALL BANNED!

Re: TrekSpace
I apologize for my rudeness, but I am giving up such things altogether. If I want drama I can rouse up plenty in my offline life to keep me busy until I croak. I go online and get into fanfic as a form of recreation. To relax, not to add stress.
I am too old, too lazy, and too cynical to bother fighting the good fight with someone insignificant over a matter that will end up being irrelevant to me and mine whether I win or lose. I just don't care anymore. As the years go by I am trying to save my rapidly dwindling ammunition for issues that will have an actual effect on my life and the lives of my family. Alec Peters, bless his heart, is utterly without importance to me and mine. So I wish him well in his pointless strutting and I will quietly depart without bothering to debate the matter any further.

Re: TrekSpace
This brouhaha actually reminds me about TBBS and the reason why I bailed on that place...
Anyway, I'm now also at VulcanSpace. I'll keep my TrekSpace page, if for no other reason than protecting my nom de cyber for being hijacked by someone else.

Re: TrekSpace
EEK - not me, I set a date for deleting my profile and I'll be doing it right then on schedule. I'm happy with VulcanSpace, I'm confident that it will grow if I just don't look back. After all, It's VulcanSpace - not whine space. I kept that blog post on my profile if only to document what really happened so ding-dong doesn't find a clever way to retaliate because I'm now giving him a bit of competition.

Re: TrekSpace
This is what I mean about not being willing to get involved in this kind of petulant... whatever.
I just logged onto TrekSpace for the specific purpose of trying to figure out a way to delete my profile.
Anyway, I happened to notice for the first time that I had a couple of PMs. One was from Distracted explaining about her blog post. I understand completely where she is coming from. Good luck Dis, and have fun.
The other one was 24 hours old, and was from Mr. Alec Peters himself. I hereby offer Mr. Peter's missive in its entirety for your reading enjoyment. If he didn't want it quoted, he shouldn't have sent it to me.
When you get this kind of shit, any further attempt at communication or negotiation is futile. All I did was demand the right to control the length of my own blog posts!

If you don't like the way I run things....leave. Otherwise, do as I ask.
Pretty simple request, that any knucklehead can figure out. a blog is a blog, a question goes in a forum.
If you don't like it, publish it somewhere else.
Really, people like you are the reason most people don't undertake putting up something like this.
I already banned one person tonight for being an obnoxious ass. Please respect my posts or else just leave. I don't need to be lectured on your perception of your rights.
Alec
