A week of accomplishment for our kids!
The best I've got is my 16 month old nephew, who lives 6 hours away in Atlanta and has only seen me 5 times in his life, knows who I am! You ask him, "where's Aunt Kim" and he points to me! Not a major achievement, but I'm thrilled.Ya see, he's not my *real* nephew - just my best friends baby, and I have no siblings. So I'll take what I can get.

Guess what? It's only athletics, not scientific progress, BUT that soccer tournament I couldn't go to because I was sick? My son Paris's team won the tournament! AND he was voted a team captain by his peers. (There are 3 captains.) He's a midfielder, usually a side midfielder, sometimes center. He's a wonderful boy. Very unselfish, which is important for a midfielder. Very easy to get along with. Maybe it's because he's a twin.
(And no, the other twin doesn't currently play soccer, but he could if he wanted to.)
