That disappearing comment probably was me because I made it shortly before a resigned from Trekspace. I am surprised that they remove your comments just because you leave. Too bad I didn't win the honor of being banned like CX and CoffeeCat. I would have enjoyed that honor!
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

TrekSpace: I just deleted my account and my groups - I said I was going to, so I did - I'll admit I got a bit overzealous because I said I'd wait till Friday tho..

VulcanSpace: I think someone unregistered, KTR

It's odd that it's Vulcanspace, KTR. That site's brand new. I don't think anyone's had time to decide they don't like it and leave, and I get the impression that they'd have to be a pedophile or a mass murderer actively searching for victims for Coffecat to ban them. She's REALLY tolerant. :D

I didn't ban or censor anyone :? All I know is that since TrekSpace, there have been people giving me crap for even daring to blog about it (I'm a firm believer in documenting shit when it hits the fan) - I've been called "emotional" as well as a few other choice names - but ranting was not my intention. I just wanted to keep the facts straight as they occurred so Mr. Peters couldn't quite get away with his whole martyr angle he was going for. Honestly, I've been though similar, very purpose driven , crap like this before.

That's what I suspect she was, but no, she wasn't banned, she left on her own after some discussion about TrekSpace.

I just had a wicked thought. Imagine if a fanfic writer could introduce a petty UE bureaucrat, say a control freak who's overseeing Starfleet or something, and call him Commissioner Alec Peters!

I'd be tempted, but that's more like something Braga would do and in fact has on at least two occassions.

Sounds like something he could fight if he's litigious, which wouldn't surprise me considering what you guys have said.

It's discussed on that ENT review site that chrisis1033 pointed out to us. One of them was named "Fuller", and I believe there was one other one who was named after a writer from VOY that left the show rather like RDM did.

Well, the character could always be called Alex Peterson...

Here it is, at the bottom of the page: Link.
I'm a grown adult. Only I know Trek best. Besides, viewers are twelve anyway. [picture of Braga]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I'm about to say is purely speculation on my part and may be wrong.

I recently found a script on the internet, ''Jason vs. Freddy'', which appears to be a different version of the movie that was produced and released in theatres. The script says it was ''Written by Brannon Braga and Ronald D. Moore''. In the script, there was a dumb Hollywood producer character named Ken Biller who is killed by Jason about ten minutes into the spec movie. Ironically this was the same name of a ''Star Trek'' writer who wrote many episodes of the modern series, including receiving a credit on about three dozen episodes of ''Voyager'', some of which he shares credit with Braga.

Now in this episode we have the first time an Enterprise crewmember is killed. And his name is ''Fuller''. Any connection to ''Star Trek'' writer Bryan Fuller? He not only shares writing credit on about twenty episodes of ''Voyager'', but some of them were with Kenneth Biller, and a few were with Braga.

Maybe it's just a coincidence. Maybe that ''Jason vs. Freddy'' script was a fan lark. But this, along with a lot of anger between many people and B&B, plus the continual firing or exits of writers under the B&B regime, is well enough for me to question such actions and wonder if Braga is having his revenge against former co-workers by killing off characters with their names. It's enough to get my attention. And now it's got yours. You speculate on your own.

Oh my...

Heh, what if Braga got a taste of his own medicine? Imagine the first redshirts in Trek XI being called Rick and Brannon!
