A portable patio? A palace door? A metaphor for something you are waiting to be posted?

:) I look forward to the discovery.

It's the greater open market that exists in Europe. Full of any sort of races. Maybe, also Vulcans?

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

OMG that's HUGE!!!

I used to shop at a great open market probably a quarter of the size of that in Norwich, England when I was a student there. English produce was so much better than ours in those days. I miss the Cox's Orange Pippins.

I think I'd spend a fortune there, Asso!

I haven't got any pictures from home, so I'll share something typical in Tasmania. It's not those neat bull water fountains, but anyway:
Image
At home, we get rainbow once in a while. Here, because the weather changes so often, rainbows are pretty common. I suspect it might be the rainbow capital of the world, or at least a strong contender.

I took this two days ago on the way back from visiting the Cadbury chocolate factory. They used to give tours and they stopped right around the time I got here, but there's a Visitor's Centre and a shop where you can buy chocolate at a great discount. I may have gotten a little carried away there...

"Chocolate is a serious thing." ~ Deanna Troi

ETA: In case of confusion, I am in Australia. Tasmania is one of the Australian states - the smallest one, an island to the south. Map

So, we have something typical of Tasmania, too! Great! :D
And yes. "Chocolate is a serious thing." (I think T'Pol could have chosen better her drug! )

Somebody at ff.net has a story about alien chocolate turning everybody into love monsters. I can't remember the title or the author, unfortunately. I'm not sure it ever was finished, either. Hmm. You would enjoy it, Asso.

You're thinly cruel. (Ah the women!) :D
So, I'll have to search, and search, and search....

You sure you're not thinking of "Passion Fruit"?

See, not cruel, just lazy. I KNEW somebody else would know! Sorry, Lady Rainbow, that I forgot your authorship.

Now I'm wondering if I've combined it with "Passion Fruit" in my head somehow.

Passion fruit IS my favorite. My mother-in-law Lupe could whip up a glorious jugo de parcha (passion fruit juice) from fruit she'd grown on her own vines. I've tried growing them here but I never get fruit and I have to bring them in the house all winter so I gave up.

I'm not big on passion fruit. The smell keeps me away. But chocolate... mmm... nothing can keep me away from chocolate.

And you're also sly.
Anyway I agree with you: Passion Fruit is very good, and I think it could make a big match with chocolate.
Anyway, talking of something typical and of chocolate...

Tasmania is a beautiful place I had a cousin who moved to Tasmania for a few years and sent pictures he took when he lived there. It's an amazingplace all the beauty in that part of Australia. That open air market looks enormous.

I don't know how I missed that thread (thanks for the reminder Asso), so many beautiful places all over the world. :D

Here's my first contribution:

Image

Mont Saint Michel is a very old abbey (we're celebrating its 1300 years right now) located on a small island between Normandy and Brittany.

Image

It's a very old place of pilgrimage and in the Middle Ages, pilgrims called it the "Wonder of the Western World".

Image

This is a view across the bay when the tide is down. You can cross the bay but it's dangerous because of the quicksands. I took all the pictures last year at sunset when I was visiting by night with an American friend. The evening visit of the abbey is lovely because you get to be almost alone, no crowd, and you can listen to music.

Image

And then, you finish with the cloister which is almost at the top of the abbey. There, you get the feeling of being between earth and sky. It's absolutely fabulous.
