A prototype of a "Catapult the Fort" game for children's activities that I've volunteered to run at an SCA event at the end of this month. I found the plans for the catapult online, and the rest of the game is just a fort drawn on the cardboard leftover after I cut out the pieces. The catapult is made from three squares of cardboard, two TP rolls, hot glue, a tongue depressor, and a rubberband, and it WORKS! The thing shoots mini marshmallows halfway across the room. 8)

I'm gonna cut out the pieces and help the kids glue them together, then they can draw and color their forts, and then we're gonna have a marshmallow war! I plan to coat the marshmallows in powdered sugar so we can tell where they hit, and assign point values to different spots on the fort. This is so cool!

Enjoy the clean-up. My son got one of those PVC pipe marshmallow blowing guns at a fair once. What a sticky mess! Nature didn't clean up the mess nearly as fast as I had assumed it would...

Popular, the first show in which I ever saw Anthony Montgomery. And guess what: he actually has lines and a story and everything! The show is funny in a completely stupid way.

His character's name was George Austin, and he was a high school student (like almost everyone else) and star football player. He eventually starts dating one of the female leads, so he appears on several season 2 episodes.

And yes KTR, Linda Park was in it too for one episode, but I haven't watched that episode yet.
