X-Files 2 Finally!

Don't worry, I was there for the finale, and I saw her give up William too. I'm sure I saw most episodes, and certainly every Mulder episode.

I'd still like to pretend the last two or three years of that show never happened. To my mind something really innovative and charming just fell to pieces. Chris Carter had a brilliant, very individual vision that over the years just got ... I don't know ... done to death? Incapable of achieving maturity? Delusional? Hostile, even? (I still think Fight Club was the best example I've ever seen of a creator viciously attacking his own characters.)

But hey, I'll still do my best to go gather in real life somewhere with my old online buddies in July for the movie. As far as I'm concerned that little posse of friends and the fun we still have was by far the best thing I ever got from the X-Files. And my husband and I still pull out the old DVDs and watch Jose Chung's From Outer Space and Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose once in awhile for old time's sake.

Yes, that baseball scene had to be one of the sweetest shippy scenes of the entire series. "Hips before hands."

I love comedy, obviously. I loved 'Small Potatoes' too. And the one with the vampires.

I also loved the one about the scary bugs who were telemarketing vinyl siding. Can't remember the title off the top of my head but I thought that was the most genuinely SCARY ep they ever did.
