"SIGH" again. :(
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Alas. *sniffle* The latest set of comments for Lerteiran didn't make it through the fire.

Oh dear, I can completely empathize! I lost comments on a story I had just put up that I was just dying to have - when Triaxian Silk went down and lost all those comments and the entire set of posts on the board. Now many of my stories stand empty of comments they once had and barren of new comments. That crash hit just at the most inconvenient time!

Maybe those people who made comments on The Guardian of Forever should be encouraged to go back and restore as much as they can remember of what they said! Perhaps CX could put a note on the site to encourge that? LOL, it is too bad I did not think of that when Triax crashed! But you often have ideas like that when friends are in need and not when you are in need. Such is life!

It was pretty much Rigil and myself and JadziaKathyrn IIRC. Mostly it was stuff about T'Pol and some of the other characters becoming a lot less sympathetic, and how Rigil and myself particularly didn't like that T'Pol was using trell until almost the end of the series. I don;t really care to go into it again, so I can only hope that you remember what my comments were. :?

Anyway, on another note, I'm suspending new submissions until further notice. Mainly this is because the old emails addresses won't work anymore, because they were provided by the old host that we are no longer using because they apparently like to overreact and suspend accounts instead of catching and explaining problems to account holders. Anyway, the other reason is that summer is quickly approaching, and I have no idea what my activity level is going to be during that time. When I find out and get the site adjusted to being on the new site, I'll make an announcement.

ah well...

*philosophical*

The essence of life is change, or something like that.

And I had mentioned how, while in a strictly moral sense Raijin was a victim too, she'd used up her sympathy with me and if I were in the crew's shoes I wouldn't feel so bad letting the Vulcans use her.

Plus, I really liked T'Pol beating her up for hurting her man again. I believe I said, "He was resisting arrest." Riiiiiight.

Is the Guardian of Forever coming back sometime? It still has that account suspended message.

Technically it is: http://www.cidvision.com/trekonline/guardian
But as you can see, nothing works. You can still access the stories and that, but you have to manually type in the /trekonline/ part. Other than that, I haven't had time to start the conversion process, and just to make things more difficult, my dad's firewall is making it impossible for me to access the FTP account to upload anything.

At least we can access the stories.

Can't someone like DR give you tips on how to circumvent the firewall?

Well, I can't even get the stories when I follow the link from this board. I get Error 404 page not found. Guess I will just keep checking every few days to see if it has been fixed yet. :(

Well, I'm not DR, but my advice would be "disable the damn thing."

It's a firewall that the service provider has, so it's not something I can just disable unfortunately.

Call support, explain to them that you are a beginner web designer and you're using your access for that purpose. Then ask them if there is a way that your FTP program can bypass their firewall. If they say it can't, let them know that their service is useless to you.
