Yeah, Venice.

Is it the only one?

Seems like a good way to save on gas. :)

Oh... I understood.
Venice is unique.
A little bit similar is Chioggia

Que bella!

Global warming could really suck there, though.

Just mount pontoons under the buildings and hang outboard motors on the back porches. Problem solved. :D

Depends on the size of the outboards. If you've only got a 5HP, then your engine telegraph (yeah, as if we use those any more) is going to say...

Just build a dyke, Asso and get the water out. That how we got half of our country. The country is 50% under sea level, we know global warming is bad for you. :(

Ah, yes, dikes, I remember those from Netherland :D I remember being a little scared and asking "but they're really strong and thick, aren't they?"

I worked with 40 engineers in the past with builded dikes that can close when the water is high, really interesting. So you know, good engineering can save us from results of global warming... :D
And of course Escriba, they are strong and thick and otherwise we swim. :D

I'm sure the people of New Orleans are very jealous of the Netherlands' well-engineered dikes.

Actually, we did offer New Orleans some help before and after Katrina. But the U.S. goverment said they could deal with it, they did not need any help. No problem, we just asked.

After Katrina, Priso (who works for National Defence) had to help get all these Navy ships and things ready to sail down to Panama and up to help out. They called it "Op. Katrina" and had stickers made up and everything for the workers to wear and they all slaved double triple shifts getting ships ready ...........

........and then Bush told (then PM) Paul Martin:

"Yeeeeaaaaah, thanks, but we're fine. You just stay up there."

Just take some help man! Reminds me of the Federation/Starfleet.
