That is hilarious!

And yes, I'm about 16 weeks along. Just enough to feel niiice and frumpy.

I've decided to not do costumes at the con because I don't want to worry about fitting, etc and I'll probably STILL be nauseous. But I'm going for sure.

We've got our plane tickets!

Definitely we'll post pictures.

Nowhere near as good as the things Dis gives us, but we'll post notheless.

(Priso volunteers to be the official phottographer, and I think it's so there'll be no hard evidence that he ever attended this shenanigan.) :D

I'm so glad you're still coming! I'm honestly not sure about costuming either. I have to get down to bare muscle, skin and bones to look halfway decent in that MU T'Pol getup, and what with the knee and the steroid shots and the physical therapist telling me I can't go to Body Pump class yet, I'm not sure if I'll be able to even zip the thing by mid June. We shall see. At least I don't have to "dance" or grope somebody else's husband in front of 200 people this time, though, so anything is possible. 8)

There are buses from California to Texas, I'm sure. Get a cost estimate for us, and we can take up a collection.

I don't think it was that bad. Seriously. Why the shyness? At least you had the guts to get up there and do it, which is more than can be said for the other thousand or so people that were present. And I am certain that you are well aware you have nothing to be ashamed of as far as looks go. You are, not to put too fine a point on it, stacked like a brick. So what was with the bashful dodging and nervousness? Granted it was amateur. If you were a professional you would be getting paid millions and you would not be hanging out with a bunch of unwashed louts like us anyway.

But I am certainly going to keep it. Most definitely. I like the way you did that stalking bit. Like a hunting cat. Nice.

Cost estimate here
Greyhound: $141 convention: $99 lodging: $89. 4 minute G rated public self embarrassment in a T'Pol costume: priceless

Though the Greyhound's gonna be like more expensive now because that's like the 14 days in advance ticket :? and I'm still not sure like where I can stay because like I told you I couldn't find a number for that place and hotels are like WAY EXPENSIVE so no way in hell. And like yeah there's buses to Texas, but I don't know if I'll be able to take a whole week off and besides I'm never gonna fit in a T'Pol costume anyway.

:guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw: Why, BnB, you silver tongued devil, you! :guffaw: :guffaw: :guffaw: OMG, I'm dyin' here. The things men notice, honestly! Does he remark on the accuracy of the costume? Nope. How about the abs I spent months toning so I wouldn't look old and fat in the darned thing? Of course not.

I hate to break this to you, my friend, but my bricks were structurally enhanced in that costume by the miraculous powers of Victoria's Secret. A forty dollars well-spent, evidently. Thanks for noticing. 8)

And... to get this thread at least peripherally back on topic, have any of you ladies remarked on the general injustice of the fact that at the very same time that we are usually "stacked" unassisted... that is, while pregnant or breastfeeding... we are also usually big as a house otherwise and unable to flaunt our temporary wealth? It's REALLY not fair. *pout*

Hey now... those fabulous abs was the first thing I noticed, both back when I first saw that performance over at HoT and again now!

Hold it lady! When I use the word "stacked" I am using it in the proper sense of referring to a lady's overall shape, not merely her bustline. I admire KTR's collection quite as much as any other. And your abs were quite admirable.

And besides, I happen to think pregnant women are hotter than a welding torch. Always have. Just ask my wife. :D

So there.

I stand corrected. I was not aware of any alternate definitions of the term. Thank you. You, too, KTR. 8)

And eK, it sounds like you might have an audience if you decide to go as E2 T'Pol with Lorian on board, girl. If you've got it, flaunt it. That's what I always say! :D

No joking around. A lady is never sexier than when she is about half or two thirds of the way through pregnancy. I don't know why, she just is.

Sue me for sexism if you want to. She IS!

blacknblue ... a sole tought, yet again!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

I was actually going to suggest that you simply ask Dis to share the video with you, but I see she already did, so I guess it all worked out in the end. I have a copy, but I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing it unless I knew Dis was cool with it.

Honestly, being the nerd I was, I noticed how good the uniform looked. As a mid-riff enthusiast :P I noticed how nice her abs were. I also noticed how nice the ears looked. ;)

Yeah, It may have been "amateur", but it's not like either of you are professionally trained, and most people do tend to freeze up in front of crowds. The way I look at it, it was just a bit of fun. The only sour point is not having any video of when CT was watching the tape of it and giving Dis the kissing lesson. But I do enjoy the story about it. 8)
