I've to wash it out twice. Weird, weird feeling. I finally just plugged my nose and dunked my head in a sink full of water!

A resident there actually gained worldwide notoriety after publishing a paper on how to get roaches out of ears. Apparently they tend to cling if you try to wash them out, and if you use alcohol to kill them first and then use tweezers they come out in pieces. This guy decided to put lidocaine solution into the ear canal, thinking it would anesthetize the bug so it wouldn't cling. Instead, it hated the sensation of being numb so much that it turned around and ran back out of the kid's ear. It was a consistent response. Happened every time.![]()
And Elessar, if you can't find the bug but it still feels like it's in there you may have a corneal abrasion. They feel like something in the eye, and usually heal in a day or so, but they can get infected, so if your eye turns red go see an eye doctor, okay?
