Yup. And if you ask her nicely, she might even share the pic of her reacting to said lesson. ;)

Uh huh. Connor watched the video, made some choice comments, and expressed his disapproval that the two of us didn't make the kiss look more realistic. "It's called ACTING!"

JustTrip'n got pictures. They're here, at the end of the page.

Did you perhaps mention to Connor that your husband is a big game hunter with a passion for collecting bladed weapons? Mayhap your acting partner wanted to keep his lips attached to his face more than he wanted to make the kiss look TOO realistic. LOL :D

You do have a point. Connor didn't know, but Lord Emperor sure did. I think, though, that the fact that Athena, Lord Emperor's wife, was standing about 5 feet away from us during every rehearsal and also at the performance might also have affected the realism of the scene somewhat. It was an interesting situation. I basically had to ask her to "borrow" her husband. She was fine with it, she said. Told me that it was an opportunity for him to do some acting and she encouraged him to do it. He was a perfect gentleman the whole time, too, but I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in their car on the drive home. I've always wondered if there were any repercussions. I hope not. They're really nice people.

Hey. Maybe if I can get myself back into the costume for Fedcon I ought to find Connor and get him to give me another lesson?

Hmmm. On second thought, my husband's coming with me to Fedcon. I wouldn't want to get HIS reaction to another kissing lesson on film. Might not be appropriate for children, and it definitely would be NSFW. On a positive note, though, he's not coming costumed and so he probably won't be armed. Could be something interesting for Priso to film, though, eh, eK?

The men could costume up as Klingons and wield Bat'leths. Or at least those daggers with the retractable wing blades.

On a related note, you girls could paint yourselves green and go as Orions. I bet a pregnant Orion dancer would be something amazing.

All that green paint might be toxic, though. 8)

Use food coloring. Or perhaps green icing.

Are you kidding? Green food coloring all over one's skin? That would take ages to get off. Distracted probably doesn't want to go to work for the next week green, and Aureilia might not want her mother green either.

Wish I were going to hang out with you fine people, but I'll be here having fun at least.

But you could get the icing off in a single evening.
