I love that opera house! It is almost as if it is about to take off in flight. I'd love to see the inside of it. Do you have any photos of that?

Not good ones. You're not supposed to take pictures inside the auditorium. It's "strictly prohibited." Erm, I did anyway. Right near the end I remembered the no flash, no sound mode on my camera. But of course that means the pictures are mediocre at best. Not being able to hold it up and aim didn't help, either.

My goodness! I am glad you did not get in trouble for taking those photos. They are nice even without flash.

Oh, I was allowed to take those. This is the only forbidden one that came out half-decently:

I also visited the Australian-made replica of Cook's Endeavor:

It's sailed around the world and everything!

Yeah, I think they actually had it on a show for that on Discovery or the History Channel.

Absolutely!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Endeavour looks really nice. I can imagine Captain Tucker having a picture of it in his ready room!

She's got an awfully nice bum!

Captain Amasov had a painting of it in his ready room in my Endeavour series, and the nautical theme was fairly prevalent throughout the ship.

Re: Member pics
Maybe I should put a picture of it on my boat...just found out my boat's first name was Forever Endeavor (American spelling). Then it was Jah Jah's Joy, then Stacy Marie, now its Charle's B. Wason after my great-grandfather who was lost at sea. Do ships hold to the personality of their first names? I wonder.

Not only ships, I believe.

I'm just thinking that I hope your boat doesn't share the same fate as your great grandfather who was lost at sea...

I've just come back from running children's activities at an SCA event in Pineville, LA. It was fun but exhausting, since the temps were in the 90's. Here's my daughter and me after a full day of medieval mayhem. Although my daughter usually dresses like a boy at these things (Have you ever tried to wield sword and shield in a skirt?), I usually don't dress in middle eastern attire. My persona is 16th century English, but I would have smothered in a chemise and overdress.

Hey! That's D!
Looking good. Just wear that to the con. I'm sure in some Star Trek episode or other someone was dressed like that. Any suggestions?
Anyway, it looks great. Wear it! Wear it! Now all you need is an episode excuse . . .
