I think you did a pretty good job, particularly in blending their heads to match up with their bodies and in blending that into the background. I like the candles too.

I like it!
Candles are a nice touch. Its about time we got Trip's bum too (even if it is a stand in bum). But someone forgot to close the window curtains so some shameless vulgar voyeur could not look in

Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

I don't feel like doing anything actually productive (hey, it's a Friday night!) so I added Trip to a photo I took recently.

Re: Fanart

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Re: Fanart
I'm an artist, but this is the first time I've ever attempted any ENT art, so please bear with me.
All of these are line drawings (pen and ink) and colored w/watercolor pencil.

Lt. Malcolm Reed, Armory Officer (Canon Universe)

A younger Archer (Canon Universe), approx. when he was in Flight School, while he was dating Margaret Mullins (the woman who turned his marriage proposal down because she "didn't want to be a Starfleet widow"). Definitely pre-Enterprise.

Captain Hoshi Sato (Switcheroo Universe). I gave her a uniform skirt with the "standard" jumpsuit top and shortened her hair somewhat.

Lt. T'Pol (Switcheroo Universe). She eventually gets a promotion in "Whips, Chains and Plomeek Soup". In this pic, she's wearing her hair down, and also wearing the IDIC necklace that Soval sent her in "The Logic of Emotion". Trip Tucker wears a similar IDIC around his neck during "TLofE."

Okay, I love the ships and technology, as well as space battles (Where are ya, Rigil??) This scene is from "Future Present, Future Past", when Columbia, Enterprise, Shran's Kumarii, Gral's H'Wase and T'Pau's Surak are stuck in the Romulan trap. I used some of the ship pics from "Ships of the Line" for this one. From top to bottom, Columbia, Enterprise, and Kumarii, plus two Romulan vessels, based on their design for TOS.
FPFP: Chapter 15:
“Tell Captain Hayes and Captain Shran to get out of here, now, and if they don’t listen, I will come over and personally kick their asses,” Hoshi ordered through gritted teeth. She swung around in her seat. “Ensign Di Falco, prepare to go to warp as soon as possible after we regain full power. Ensign T’Pol, status of the Vulcan ships?”
“All of them have gone to warp, except Surak. Surak is firing at one of the Romulan ships. Firing a second time. Direct hit on the Romulan’s port engine. Their cloak is failing.” T’Pol’s voice was calm, unemotional. “Surak has just lost aft shielding; Columbia has moved into a defensive position behind Surak. Kumari’s systems are beginning to buckle...now their port and starboard shielding has failed...” She raised her eyebrows. “Columbia has activated transporter beams—“
“Travis,” Hoshi said, warning in her voice. Her nails dug scratches in the arms of her command chair.

Re: Fanart
I am about to expose my profound ignorance of modern art here. You work in what is called the Expressionist style, am I correct? I know nothing about this, but I am always glad to learn. I fear my conservative cultural leanings include art and music, as well as everything else. Educate me please?

Re: Fanart
Yeah, I guess you can describe most of my work as "Expressionist", BnB.
I once had a fellow editor tell me my paintings remind him of some of what he saw in Mexico. I like to use color to set the mood, esp. warm colors like gold, burgundy, and orange and use cool colors for contrast (purple, blue and greens) and I tend to try to "capture" the spirit of whatever subject I'm working with. The end result may or may not look "realistic".
Some of my favorite artists are Picasso and Salvador Dali

Just saw this. Gorgeous. And moving.

It's flavored with passionfruit
an appropriate ingredient, don't you think?
