I heard :(

Hammond of Texas has fallen in battle.

He had been ill for quite some time, I think. I recall reading that he left the show because of a heart condition.

Sad news . I hope they'll do a tribute to Don S. Davis on the new dvd Stargate Contunumm or that sci-fi channel will do a Stargate Tribute to him.

Yeah, I wonder if he was in it? The DVD is due out in the U.S. on July 29th, but there's no air date scheduled yet.

Sad news indeed. :( And he wasn't really that old either...

I remember and liked him when I first saw his performance as Major Garland Briggs on Twin Peaks.
