I'm sure we'll be happy whichever way you do it, especially if it has Purgatory on it SOON.

I'm sure TriS will have it up before I do either way.

Unfortunately this will not be the last chapter of Purgatory after all. I have too many irons in the fire. Distracted helped me get my head out of my ass, but now I have to straighten out the mess properly.

*sigh*

It will take at least one more chapter after this one. At least.

Sorry. :(

SORRY!?! :o
I want a lot of chapters, yet!
Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four

And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Any idea when you will be ready to accept submissions again?

Not really. I checked the poll as to even the look of the site and its deadlocked in a tie, so I don't even know what site to make. :? I think I'm just going to stick with the current look to save myself the headache of learning pure CSS code since I'd basically be learning it from someone else who tends to be online even less than I am.

Well the conversion process is taking place now ... slowly... All the main pages and the DS9 fics are done, mostly because there was like 2 of them. The ENT fics are taking a while though - I'm only done through "C". Man, I forgot how many Distracted had just by herself.

Sounds like a LOT of work, CX. Take your time. Myself, I have been very slow in the production of new stories department, preferring to be out on the lake in the summer. So won't have any new stories to add to your site until the Fall, I suspect. :)
Working on a major fan fic project. Two-thirds done. Hope to put it up in the not TOO distant future.

What you might do is stick with the current look (since it looks like most people are happy with it) and then go ahead and tinker around with CSS while you're not on the clock or anything to learn it. Then down the road, maybe run another poll, once you're confident you know how to use it and how you'd redo the site with it, and see what people say. You do not want to be working with a deadline on learning something like that, hehe, that would suck.

The new website is now up and running. If everything went according to plan, there should be no noticeable difference from just before we moved hosts. It took me weeks to do all the conversions and change all the links, and I'm pretty sure I got everything, but if you happen to notice something that's wrong, or a broken link, or anything like that, please let me know so I can fix it.

Now, as some of you are no doubt hoping, this also means that submissions are now open again. The new email address is posted on the website. Just to let everyone know though, since summer has been exceptionally busy for me, it may be a while from when you submit something to when I get it up, especially if it's over the weekend.

I also know that since the website went down, that there are some authors who have updated their work and have new stuff that I'd like to add to the archive. The catch is, my memory being the way it is, I can't remember who all that is, or how many fics. If you are one of these authors, please contact me so I can bring your work up to date on GoF.

On a related note, if you happen to have a story on the site bookmarked, you'll have to change the extension on the end from .html to .php

Please put the link to The Guardian of Forever here. I googled it and got a bunch of links which were not your site. Also tried the link to it in the Star Trek Foundations site and it was a dead link. And there is no link to it on the Triaxian Silk site. So I'm kinda "lost in (cyber) space" at the moment. :?

I guess I thought I posted it earlier in the thread, and it hasn't changed since the move: Link
