CX I was just thinkin, my friend was telling me about how he's gone to some cons (not trek... weird stuff like pen and paper games, larping, etc) and made a few bucks selling hand drawings.

We'd have to get whatever special dispensation that dealers have to get to be able to sell Trek gear, but if we could get a booth at a con, stop and think about all the people on this site who have a particular talent that they could peddle at a con?

CX you could sell actual full sized posters of a few of your more popular designs of inspirational ENT posters.

Could even look into how in the hell that girl i met at the first con I went to in Vegas was selling fanfiction.

Um ... if you're doing any of this by working off clips from Star Trek and you're charging money for 'em, that's copyright infringement unless you get permission/license.

Paramount thankfully doesn't seem to care about all this fan stuff but once you turn it into money-making somebody sure might care.

Dealers dont work for Paramount, they're ordinary people, and there's a whole lot of em, so there has to be a way that they do it legally. And they're little tid-bit operations, not big wigs.
