When I was a baby my parents had a parakeet who used to fly around the house and sit on their lips and pick at their teeth... or at any rate, that's what my mom tells me. But she also told me blind people drive in Florida by hugging the side of the road, so this may have just been her odd sense of humor.

I believe your Mom! I have "bird" stories too. I had a couple of parakeets along with my parrot years ago, but they are gone now because they have shorter life spans. One parakeet watched the parrot climb up a curtain and flew over and attached himself to the parrot's back while he was climbing. Since the parrot's feet and beak were all engaged in the climbing, he could not do anything about the parakeet attached to his back. Well, not until he reached the curtain rod and had his beak free anyway. At that point, the parrot was standing on the rod with his feet and reached around with his beak to bite the parakeet on his back. But the parakeet had already flown off. I didn't have time to go get the camera. This really happened. Honest! Vulcans don't lie.

Asso, here is a hint. Look in the hanging plants. You can see his head only, especially his eye. His head is green with a yellow patch on top, and he has yellow cheeks.
