Sounds miserable. Have you tried Aleve or a good dose of ibuprofen? (Like, double the one they say to start with on the bottle?) Before I had my kid, Advil was something I very deeply appreciated.

Once my stupid evil cramps even got me to the ER cuz they're just so bad. (And I was at the library and not in bed where I can pass out without anyone noticing) And I got prescribed vicodin. For cramps. Like what doctor in their right mind would drop a V-bomb on cramps unless they're really, really EVIL CRAMPS. And like in the ambulance (while cramping of course) I just keep thinking like "dude it's Star Trek IV all over again"

Though according to something I read online, Vulcans don't menstruate because their bodies have evolved to conserve all liquid. Of course, according to that site they don't sweat either, and we get to see T'Pol sweat all the time. I guess you could argue it's tough having humans play Vulcans without sweating. Whenever I watch the pon farr episode I find myself wondering if they had a hard time with sweat stain continuity on her underwear. They must have had to apply that repeatedly. Jolene B. was probably freezing.

I'm also thinking I wouldn't want to see T'Pol with PMS. You thought pon farr was bad...

I also wonder why she wears pink lipstick. Wouldn't a Vulcan choose a shade of green if she were actually going to apply something as illogical as lip color? And shouldn't the make-up people have chosen something at least more in the brown family, instead of the red family?

When I'm not knocked up, I just take my 21-day cycle birth-control pills without a break (the 7 day pill break you usually take to get your period). I went a whole year without any period, and then I stopped to get pregs this time, and did right away! (Talk to your doctor of course, but my doc does this trick herself).

Periods are so last century.

Any way, it is story from Hoshi POV. Trip and T'pol are together, Hoshi is visiting their cabin and she sees Trip sleeping in T'pol lap on the bench. Hoshi and T'pol have a talk and one thing she asked about is the lipstick. T'pol answered that Vulcans have very sensitive skin and mouth, so the lipstick is for protection. And at the end T'pol admits that pink is Trip favorite colour of lipstick... Was a good read, must have been a new story by him about 1,5 years ago.

I hate that "drink sweet crap and sit around" test. Mine turned out well, but the sweet orange drink was so yucky I nearly yakked everywhere.

I threw up this morning. As I have every single morning (minus one here or there) since February. And lots of times in the afternoon and evening too.

Just so I won't get cocky, and like, y'know, go more than 250 metres from my front door.
