Re: The Whine thread.
Well, I just got home from doing my one haircut today, and just in time, too!
I stopped and had a word with my friendly neighborhood pharmacist about what happened. He said that pseudoephedrine sometimes keeps people up. I told him I hadn't had a problem with it before, but he said I was taking a "severe cold" formula that might have more in it, but a regular formula might not be enough to screw me up. He suggested that I just take this stuff during the day (no joke!), and recommended Claritin for night time because it won't keep me up, it won't knock me out, my natural sleep cycle will just take over once I crash tonight.
Wish me luck.

Keeping it short: Earache @ 2:30 in the goddamn morning. Pain all the way thru to about 8, when my eardrum blew. I'm NOT a happy bunny.

Re: The Whine thread.
Earache is very bad. I'm displeased for you.

Well yes. I continue to write. And on Fanfiction.Net, for those who want, it is possible to cast a glance at my latest efforts. We arrived to
The Ears of the Elves, chapter Forty-four
And here is the beginning of the whole story.

But, I must say, you could also find something else on Fanfiction.net written by me. If you want.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Did you see a doctor? I hope you feel better soon!
Re: The Whine thread.
I've had a bit depressing few days.
Since the global economy isn't that good right now it's not completely sure if I have a job after the end of February when my current employment contract ends.
Things at home aren't that great right now.
And many people make me feel that I'm really odd person and don't really fit in anywhere. That's nothing new since I really am quite odd , but sometimes it's still a bit depressing.

Odd?

In the matter of that, world is a set of samples!
And I'm the first!

Things will go right and good and well, Bookworm. You will see!

Ouch, Dark! YIKES.
And Bookworm. If you are odd, you're no odder than the rest of us here.

I'm donating my body to science fiction.

Seriously!
I can relate, though, Bookworm. That's one of the reasons I got into doing hair: depending on the kind of salon you get into, people kind of expect you to be a little odd if you're a hairdresser, so I made my career choice based on my perceived level of "oddness."

Personally, I respect you more for feeling like you're odd. It tells me you have your own way of thinking and your own way of doing things, you don't go along with everyone else. I like that in people!

Oddness is fine. It's better than being normal.
I'll have my fingers crossed for you.

Yes, my fingers too, Bether. It sounds like you work hard and not only know your stuff but really love it, so even if the economy does stick it to you, hopefully it will only be temporary. Your skills are surely rare and needed.
