It still wasn't working for me, and I don't know why. The links looked good. But I retyped them and now they work for me. Weird.

Eternal Mysteries. I hate the friggin' links. In this case, though, I thought it had been a missing _library_ in the address.

Tell ya one thing. It really helps to write one-word titles. I think I might try to do it from now on. No more Commander Tucker Does Something That Goes On and On titles from me.

It still wasn't working for me, and I don't know why. The links looked good. But I retyped them and now they work for me. Weird.

As far as I could tell, there were quote-symbols embedded in the link. If you type " but don't press the spacebar (or another symbol) afterwards most programs won't put in the symbol ON SCREEN but it might still get added to the file/link. And especially if they're MS quotes (which are different from Unicode/ASCII quotes) this could created troubles. Thus why rewriting them helped

Do you actually hand-code all those pages?

EDIT: Alelou, you are talking about the link from the main page TO chapter 2. JT was probably talking about the other nonfunctioning links I reported, which were IN chapter 2 TO chapters 1 and 3. So, yeah, confusion abounds

(Actually, I wasn't sure, but I decide he/she would probably prefer a male designation over a neutral designation. ^^

What, Alelou is actually a first name somewhere on this planet? For me it's a contraction of Alejandro/Lourdes, my kid/stepkid.

And yes, we hand-code. And yes, smart quotes are a freaking pain in the behind.

I'd say Rule 34 applies to names as well. The weirdest things can be names. I once encountered a name which was a Dutch verb.

I found out Elessar was actually some Caribbean woman's name. Someone googled it.
